I was pretty excited to get a permanent anklet. I’ve worn one for years, and thought it would be nice. I went to my local location, the girls were very nice. Before I sat down, one of the girls had brought out a roll of chain and a ruler, and was already cutting the length of chain before I told her that I wanted an anklet and not a bracelet. I trusted whatever they were doing. I did verbally expressed concern about it fitting or being too tight on the day. I was assured, and that it should be fine. I asked if it was possible to get a little extra length, and was told that 10 inches was the standard, and if I wanted any more length, I would have to pay double to get a whole new 10 inches. The anklet broke off on day two. I stopped by the kiosk and told them that it had fallen off. I came back five days after the original purchase, to do a return, and they said that this was not possible. They called the manager who also declined the return. The solutions they offered me where to change to a bracelet, which I cannot do, add extra jumping, which frankly would be kind of ugly, or to pay for a charm to get the extra length I need. now I have a bit of chain that I cannot use. I called customer service. I explained that I was frustrated because I was being denied the return because the banquet was supposedly custom. I was denied extra length on the day, because 10 inches was the standard. Nothing was customized. She cut the chain against the ruler before I told her what service I wanted even.Customer service said they would escalate my complaint, and someone will get back to me in 10 days. I called 10 days later to be told. Oh no it’s actually 14 days. We can’t help you until then. I call back on the 14th day, and they tell me that the issue was not escalated properly the first time. they said they re-escalated the issue, and that someone would get back to me within 10 days. Now here I am: 46 days after the initial service, and 41 days after I initially contacted customer service for help, and no one has gotten back to me. I do not have a permanent anklet. I have a bit of chain that I can’t really do anything with. frankly, pretty frustrated about how this was handled it every step. Either it was custom, and should have been measured to my ankle and not a ruler or it was standardized, in which case I should be able to get a return if it doesn’t suit me. Not really happy with how this came out, but I’m just gonna leave this review and move on at this point I guess.

What an traumatic experience!we picked this place for earlobe piercing for our 8 year old daughter because they said both earlobes can get pierced at the same time so it's less stressful for children. What a mistake!While one ear got pierced seemingly smoothly, it's badly bruised all around. Other side went horribly wrong! Guy named Zach positioned tool wrongly and pierced her earlobe vertically and was unable to pull out tool that was stuck in her earlobe. Long story short instead of "less stressful" dual piercing she got pierced 3 times and now has marks from piercing in three spots on one earlobe. I wish I kept my appointment at the other place with highly experienced piercing technicians instead of choosing this place that offered dual piercing and technicians that don't even know how to properly use piercing tools!

I had a very bad experience with these guys, I bought a small ring and returned it within time to get a bigger size but the lady who worked was very arrogant declined to change it, she also told me that it was pure diamond when I bought it but when I returned it she told me that it was silver, she kept on sending me other shops to see if they can resize it but they also sent me away, I hated the day I made a decision to buy my engagement ring at banter and I can never personally recommend any of my friends to buy from Bante.

I had a very good experience with the young lady who helped my daughter and I pick out earrings and when she pierced my ears. This was at the Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh. Not sure how to spell her name , but Aleah definitely is an asset to this business. She is professional but fun loving and sweet.

Banter did my 2nd lobe piercing, and it was basically painless! I really enjoyed my experience with the Piercing Tech as she was super friendly, and made me comfortable by answering all my questions. I recommend Banter to anyone looking for a lobe piercing. I know I will be back to her for my 3rd lobe!

I was very happy with the help that Sally gave me at the Silverdale Mall. I had two Cartilage piercings done, and it was so easy. Sally helped me decide on the placement of the two earrings I bought. I didn't have to wait very long and was helped right away. I will go back there when I'm ready to get more piercings. Valerie

I guess I should've read the reviews first. This is for sales associate #13567557. The sales associate was not friendly at all. In fact, she was very short with us and seemed as if we were bothering her. She tried to get us to buy gold earrings instead of the stainless steel for our daughter's ear piercing because of a risk of allergy. I said no and to proceed with the stainless steel. She didn't explain what she was going to do prior to doing it. She also seemed extremely annoyed that my husband wasn't holding my infants head the way she wanted. A simple instruction goes a long way! She included the aftercare in our cost without telling us, she just put it in our bill. When she was done she said nothing so we were both like "are we done, is there anything else?". Customer service goes a long way and she lacked it big time. It dampened our experience getting our 2 month old ears pierced.

I have purchased several pieces of jewelry over a 10 yr period with no issues. About 3 yrs ago I purchased and exchanged 3 bracelets for my husband that broke within the warranty period. The last bracelet was over $500 and I exchanged it for a gold chain for my husband costing over $1000. My warranty overlapped by 6 weeks and I was told it could not be renewed. Piercing Pagoda never sent an email about this. I will not be purchasing any jewelry from them in the future. The sales person wasn't aware of this change, neither was the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone.

Makayla from store #1517 at the Westfield Brandon Mall was extremely rude when I went to go return an item. I've lost my original receipt, granted, but instead of her providing various options with integrity like the other Banter associate provided she refused to help me, but instead continues her conversation with the UPS driver. Luckily, I went to the West Shore Mall location where a nice associate informed me that my receipt could be in my email. I told her I couldn't find it, she then proceeded with a question and asked do I have another email address that the receipt could've gone to. I checked that email and wala I was able to retrieve the receipt and was granted my refund. That's what you call customer service. Going the extra mile. In between this process, I contacted corporate and along with them and the last associate, they both stated to me that Makayla was being nasty and that she could've granted the refund since the purchase was only two weeks ago and that they see on my acct where I purchased the item along with the hundreds of dollars I spent with the company over a short period. I recommend anyone to go to any other Banter besides store number #1517 at the Westfield Brandon. Or at least do not allow Makayla to assist you. They almost lost a valued customer, but store #361 saved the day.

The worst company to ever do business with. I ordered 3 items. 1 necklace 1 charm 1 pair of earrings. I received 2 items. The charm and the earrings. I never received the necklace. I have reported this to them since 12/1/2022, and they haven't helped me at all. My case supposedly was escalated. They haven't called me at all. I keep calling them and they only keep telling me that a JULIE a supervisor from them is the one in charge. She has not called me or emailed me to help me at all. Mean time they want to charge my bank a monthly fee for something I have not received. I also contacted Progressive Leasing, and I told them that since I have not received the item that I purchased that they shouldn't be charging me until the investigation is done. I explained to them that they had breached the contract. Progressive leasing stated that Banter have not reported this to them. The worse customer service at all. There's no managers. No one that I can talk to that is above the regular customer service people. They act like a very ghetto jewelry place. Never again will I even consider to pass around any Banter name in any mall or any place. This is the CASE NO. 06860347 for the "investigation "
