I always enjoy coming here. Every time it’s so fun to just walk into and look at products and what’s new. The salad bar is yummy and great to play around with flavors for a good salad. The prepared food is delicious too. There’s a good amount of selection for the organic produce and the bulk section is great to roam around too. The prices are somewhat high in my opinion so that’s why I find it a luxury for ME. It’s kind of a cross between sprouts and Whole Foods. The atmosphere for me was chill. The customer service is very to the point. I highly enjoy the experience every time I go.

Last time I'm in this store. Stickers cost whatever you want. You don't know what product you're buying. Check out this store.

As a frequent shopper of roots, and when I say that I’m in there once a week. I love the store. I tend to stay away from the hot food bar because it’s going to be a hit or miss. Most often times than not, it's a miss. But I was just feeling it today and I got myself a little box of food. I have many thoughts. Some of the things are actually good, the salting is usually always under done but as an amateur chef it’s better under salting than to over salt something. Thats just something I’ve noticed. Spiced potatoes. Not good. I’m not sure why when I had picked that it was going to be like hot spicy not holiday spice clove cinnamon whatever was on there. Might appeal to some folks but definitely not how I’d choose to cook potatoes. Maybe do that on the sweet potatoes. Fennel seed Chicken some seemed over cooked maybe sitting out too long without moisture, and some seemed undercooked but I’m sure we check it to 165 though it’s just unpleasant looking. Even the lady next to me was looking at the chicken trying to pick the most appealing piece Had it last week and it was good. Just my criticism. Veggies never have much life to them. Orange tofu was actually good so there’s no comment there. Samosa was fine not too much life there either but not the worst thing. My problem is the inconsistency I had literally come here last week and the lentils were delicious the chickpeas were good the chicken was good a little under salted but the flavor was great. I think I’ve learned my disappointing lesson from the hot food bar officially, love the store though.

I love this store. They have an amazing selection of gluten free baked goods (many of which cater to a vegan or keto diet too), sell delicious organic coffee and other hot drinks and have the best smoothie menu around. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. It’s one of my favorite places in Temecula to grab some lunch or a snack!

I've been coming here for a while. However; recently the prices on the exact same items, Sprouts have it for less.I paid extra for pasture raised eggs only to find out the yolks are as yellow as lemons. I looked at the packaging and saw that the eggs came from 4 different states and packaged in Washington.I also got bread that fell apart the second I took it out of the bag. Smh.. I'm very disappointed in the quality of food here. Unfortulately I won't be a returning customer for a while.

Dear Root and Joe, I would once again like to praise Joe who works in the meat department in the back of the roots store. He is just amazing. Anytime I need the best product with the best advice, I go straight to Joe at Roots. Joe is very knowledgeable and really cares about his customers. I have had great dinner parties by taking his advice. He even walks me through best way to prepare and serve. I've had many compliments about my meals. I just can't recommend Roots enough! The quality of product and Joes expertise is the best you'll find. He always makes me look good! Try the meat department at the Winchester Roots and ask for Joe. You won't be disappointed!!! Thanks again, Karen F.

This store has many really healthy options. That being said... it is extremely overpriced. I saw brussels for almost $8.00 a pound. I realize this store has rent, tax, and employees to pay... but dang! That is ridiculous. I came looking for tumeric root and found it. They are charging $16.99 per pound. I still bought it but I am mad about it. I intend on taking it home and propagating the roots to grow my own. That is absolutely highway robbery! The store is very clean and organized. I was not a fan of the employees except my cashier. There was a woman with a clipboard talking to passers-by.. everyone except me. Pft, I didn't want you to talk to me anyway LOL. I may be feeling some type of way. I hope these roots work

Pleasant experience here. We were looking for Celtic sea salt and happily found it among a wide selection of healthy products. Service was good. Especially appreciated the help we got from Matthew. What a gem! I'd say the ambiance was wonderful especially for those seeking a realistic and wholesome alternative to sprouts and Whole Foods. We'll be back.

Not a real health food store. Sells moldy products and won't take ownership of it. They give out plastic ware in their "health bar" when they sell biodegradable disposable ware. Outrageously over priced on many items.

Roots is great. I mostly shop there for their meat. I often order a leg of lamb and Joe cuts and wraps it to perfection. I have to say that the way he wrapped my ground beef today was wonderful too. He's considerate, helpful and funny. I also had the experience today of conversing with James, the produce manager. I asked about grapes and he gave me the run down on where he orders his organic grapes. He's very knowledgable, dedicated and enthusiastic about his work.

Every time i come here for a smoothie it takes over 10 mins when majority of the time i am the only person in line this is honestly really frustrating because there is so consideration for your time or urgency to get you your drink
