It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE.This place is AMAZING AND THEIRVOLUNTEERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE SO KIND AND HELPFUL. I WAS IN AND OUT IN NO TIME. THE VOLUNTEER TOOK ME TO THE ROOM WHERE SHE PROVIDED ME WITH WHAT I NEEDED. I REALLY HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY APPRECIATION. MICHELLE'S PLACEIS JUST AMAZING. It's a good place if you require services. I received a pair of swim prostheses a couple years ago. I attended a crafts night today (11/10/22) though and there's no back-light on the building name. If you're coming in a ride share that makes it very difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot. 4/5 stars for poor nighttime recognition/visibility.

My daughter has 2 rare cancers. We visited the City of Hope for an appointment and were recommended to come here. My daughter received a prosthetic breast and a bra. I was overcome with emotion when I saw my daughter look at herself. What a true gift that was given to her. So much time was spent with us during our visit and you could feel the love and compassion from each person .

My review is based on being a visitor to Michelle's Place. My mom visits quite frequently and is very involved with this center, and she just loves it. I had the privilege of attending a tai chi class as her guest, and I had a great time. I had always wanted to try tai chi, and it was nice that my first time doing tai chi was surrounded by my mom and other cancer warriors. This class, just like most of the classes, are taught by volunteers who just want to spread love and goodness, and help people dealing with cancer.Before the class, I got to tour the facility, and see that the center also offers art classes, knitting/crocheting classes, reiki therapy, fitness classes, nutrition and more. There is a lot going on. There are also therapy dogs who visit. It's awesome that this place exists, and is a resource for people to take their minds off their current health struggles.

Great resource place for both men and women. You can check out resource books. They have councel, books, video, free wigs, etc. As long as you are in a treatment plan.
