I went in today 9/19/20 to purchase some socks for my toddler. We were in the upstairs children department of this H&M. I was in there a few weeks ago and found the size I needed right away and the male associate working at the time was great. Today when I went in I was struggling to find the size I needed in a full bin of socks and saw there were other styles in the size but not in the one I was looking for. The store was empty and the bin is near the register, the associate just stood behind the counter without offering any help. She didn't greet us either. My husband walked in a little later and said for me to just order them online if I couldn't find them. The associate not once asked if we needed help or said goodbye and as we walked out I told my husband I would be ordering online instead of returning to the store. I used to work retail a few years as a store manager and customer service was our top priority, we made sure to give great service so that customers came back and it made the atmosphere more enjoyable. This was about 30 min before closing which I understand some employees might just be ready to go home, but this is also a big reason why people prefer online shopping over in store. It's a bummer to see this generation of younger employees that don't care to help a customer out.

How do they not have a dress code here for their employees. I got checked out by one of the employees and she was wearing a mini skirt. This girl was working upstairs in the kids area and she was so close to exposing herself everytime she would turn around to do something. This is absurd, I shouldn't have to worry about an employee accidentally exposing herself to my children while we're out shopping.

They refused to exchange a gift I received WITH TAGS ON and never worn, even though on the website says I’m able to exchange items without a receipt as long as it’s equal or less value. Called Customer Service and they had apologized and said I should’ve been able to exchange items. Never coming here again.
