As a Hilton Honors member for years, this hotel convinced me to use Marriott as my primary hotel moving forward.
Check in: no acknowledgement of me being honors member. Website and hilton app both say complementary parking, but when you get there, they say it's $10/night.
Common areas: this hotel was filthy. The hallways looked like a 40 year old motel. Elevator floors cracked and missing certification. Coffee station filled with trash and ugly stains on the coffee urn.
Room: very small room with no central air. The large wall unit was loud and either off or ice cold, no in between. There was a large crack in the wall. The ironing board had no pad, just a metal frame. The shower door was crooked and leaked water into the bathroom. The door key sensor was broken. The room was not cleaned the entire time we were there.
Breakfast: BEWARE. I paid extra for included breakfast with my reservation, but when we ordered breakfast, they said it cost extra. When I told them that I paid for it, they said I only paid for the buffet. The buffet itself was a joke. Hashbrowns were a pile of mush in oil, pancakes were cardboard, and the eggs were watery. The breakfast sausages were the best thing about this entire hotel.
Overall, the quality of this "new" hotel(2 years old) was that of nice motel or a bargain budget hotel at $250/night. It's hard to believe it carries the Hilton name. My disappointment and regret for choosing this hotel cast a shadow on our anniversary weekend. They have successfully earned a new customer for Marriott.
Walkability: Would not recommend walking alone at night.

Located in a quiet area and near everything you'd like to do in Temecula, this property is beautiful inside and out, and offers clean, spacious modern style rooms. We loved that there was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Spacious and clean bathroom and plenty of closet space. Beds were very comfortable. Very friendly staff! We will be back!

Make sure you have paper trail with this location. We requested an early check in, 1 hour early. 3pm instead of 4pm. Going to an event so we specifically asked for the hour. No problem, so they say. We should have had it in writing. Now we are sitting in the lobby getting ready. Supposedly, ours is the last room that needs cleaning and won't be ready until 3:59pm
No manager on site
Staff unwilling to help
There are other hotels near by that will work with you Hilton does not, will not.

Stay somewhere else ….
We had to wait until 4pm to check in after long flight and no communication between front desk and housekeeping service to get the room ready .
No complimentary breakfast …$10 to park for the night and housekeeping never showed up all day .

Major disappointment: newer property; well appointed. Big rooms.
BUT: arrived late. No food in restaurant and poorly stocked snack pantry. Rm 341, a supposed upgrade, was horrible. 70 decibel noise/vibration likely due to bad rooftop mechanical unit for bathrooms. Slept little. Rm a/c either full bore or not at all. Cool looking shower, but leaked and pinged on drain plate - ugh. Very sensitive, motion sensor triggered light. No DND tag so housekeeping knocked and tried to enter at 8:30a. Parking charge gripe. Can understand for downtown properties where many options other than auto access. But in a suburban location like this its sole purpose is to make room rate look lower. UGH!
Lydia tried to make right with (token) service recovery. All front desk and service people are very nice and understanding, but think hands are tied by poor ownership/mgt.
Other hotel choices available. We will not return to this property.

3 dogs walk out of hotel as I arrive. Going pee right outside door and owners walking in the same grass. It felt gross from that moment. Everything is outdated. Plastic bathrooms. Uncomfortable and weird layout. Door to other hotel guest room is in main room and I could hear them in their room talking. More uncomfortable, I went in bedroom and closed door, could still hear noise. There are 2 box fans to drown out noise. Air conditioner sounds like a baseball game with applause, had to turn it off. And it’s 100 degrees. This place is old and dirty feeling. I didn’t choose this place and I never would! Yuck! I feel so uncomfortable here, I didn’t even want to come in! I wanna go home! :/

We stayed at this hotel and the housekeeping at this property is really bad. They don’t clean what they are supposed to clean everyday. First I asked the front desk to clean my room every day. They told me that they would take care of it. Three times during my stay nobody cleaned my room. When I asked someone to clean my room they said that they would and never did. I brought this up to the manager and she promised me that she would take care of it. The next day it happened again and I brought it up to the manager again and she told me she would take care of it. The next day it happened again and the manager called me to see if it was clean and I told her no. Today they told me my room was clean when it looked like the pictures below. I told the assistant manager (housekeeping manager) I showed him the picture and he says that they only do light touch cleaning. Then I asked him is this supposed to be light touch? He didn’t respond to that and just told me that they didn’t clean it because of the toothpaste that was there.???????????what????? If the managers have that attitude I understand why the housekeepers don’t do there job. This is a really dirty place and they don’t care about customer service at all.

As diamond members we stay in Hiltons often, and the garden inns are usually our fave. The location is great, the people were really nice (Sandi at the bar is amazing!), and we loved the pool area. Sadly, however, we had to cut our stay short a day and scramble to find another room because of an issue they already knew about in our room. To explain... We checked in on Monday and as soon as we got in our room a maintenance guy showed up unannounced asking about a ceiling issue we said we just got here but you can look. He walked in bathroom, looked around, said looks ok and left. Fast forward to Wednesday morning when i get woken up by water pouring into our bathroom through the light fixture from the person showering above us. My plans of getting up, showering, and taking my tour of Temecula thwarted. My husband had to cut his work day short, come back, and we had to pack up. They stated they were basically full so it would help if we just proceeded to San Diego a day earlier than planned (only our hotel there didn't have a room early for us). So i couldn't shower, and you can't check in to a new place until after 3pm and my hubby loses a work day driving us to San Tee where we were able to find a room for one night, only to move again tomorrow. So frustrating, especially when the maintenance guy stated this morning he's been trying to arrange taking care of this issue but it's hard when they won't block out the rooms involved. I find that unacceptable. As an added annoyance, we also lose our larger points accumulation we get staying at a garden inn which is part of the reason we choose to stay there, and they didn't even throw any points our way as a sorry since it was most definitely something they could've prevented. Left us very disappointed in the end. As an added side note the mattress was also of poor quality compared to usual.

Don’t expect to get into your room until 4 pm. I know that’s the stated check in time but when there’s a block of rooms set aside for a wedding one would think they would understand that people need to get dressed when coming in from out of town. Absolutely rude and snooty service without an ounce of compassion. She stated that if we wanted to get into the room before 4 pm we should have booked the room for an extra night.
