This is the 2nd time I have attempted to rent a car from this location, and AGAIN there was an issue. I booked the reservation online for my wife. I used my CC on the reservation, and put it under her name. I gave her the physical card to bring in to get the car. They gave her a hard time, even though we have the same last name. I got on the phone with the manager, who offered ZERO solutions. I even asked them to give her a ride home so she could get her CC with her name on it. They would not help or give her a ride for a solution. I will be filing a BBB complaint and every other possible organization I can think of. This place continues to disappoint. No wonder why Hertz filed BK!! Their customer service is SO BAD!!!

I have been renting cars for over 15 years and I have never seen such great customer service from the friendly staff at Hertz Temecula. Michael, Christy, and Maria are all amazing!

The car was wonderful!
The setup, shuttle, and delivery were outstanding. But the wait was ridiculous. It's a tiny, hard to find little office, and only two employees working at any time. Six customers waiting for service, but only one employee is visible most of the time.

This was my first time trying to rent thru Hertz, as I usually rent with Enterprise, and it will be my last attempt. I experienced the most rude, unprofessional, discriminatory service I have ever received.
I booked my appointment online for Saturday for a 12pm pickup. Now, I was unaware that the location actually closed at 12pm as the website let me make my booking with no notification AND I never received a phone call confirming my appointment, as I typically do with Enterprise, that notified me of my appointment time and the conflicting store closing time. I arrived at 12:03pm and was refused service or entrance into the building. I spoke with an individual by the name of Daniel who was very rude and condescending. I informed him I was unaware of their closure time and asked for grace since I was only 3 minutes behind my scheduled pickup. He refused and proceeded to tell me that I could escalate and that the only thing that would happen is I would “probably get a free rental”. After a long conversation, one which probably took longer than if he just allowed me to proceed with a rental, a young lady with her daughter I assume walked up asking for assistance. Daniel told her to wait, I assume he wanted to wait until he believed I had left, and then had Mike come out and help. Not only was she helped but she was allowed in the building at precisely 12:29pm (photos attached for proof). I will be escalating my complaint to the district level as I strongly believe my treatment was racially motivated.
I have attached photos of my reservation, and pictures of them allowing another customer in after I was refused service with a time stamp on the pictures for accuracy.

The worst service I have ever received… I reserved a vehicle online and set a pick-up time. I drove from the other side of town on Friday during rush hour traffic. Once I got there, no one was there. I waited ten minutes, then called the number for someone to come out from the back room. Daniel came out, and he informed me that he didn't have any cars available even though I had reserved a vehicle. Then he said they didn't even stock the type of vehicle I reserved anyway, so even if he did have a car, he wouldn't have what I reserved. Daniel didn't seem to care and told me to call customer service to file a complaint. Completely Ridiculous... Please read the other reviews about this place. Most of them are 1 star, and there is a good reason. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Don't support these types of businesses or their worthless employees...

Worst car rental place I’ve ever been to. Understaffed. Only one guy working. Nothing was ready for us. Took over an hour and a half to get a car. Gave us a car with 1/2 tank of gas. We had reservations a month ahead of time.
On a scale of 1-5, I’d give this place a 0 and call the 0 a hertz donut.

Horribly understaffed. The one employee is doing all he can but it's madness watching one person do everything. Next time I will pay the extra cost for enterprise just to not wait an hour to get my rental. It is a Thursday at 1pm if that detail matters.

I am from Huntington Beach. I rented a car here a week later returned it. My truck wasn't done. I booked another one and they had no cars. I had to get a hotel and the next day I went back still the same thing. They finally offered me a sprinter van but couldn't find the keys. This place sucks!

Tried to take a rental car back n he made me take it home and clean it when it was documented in AZ that the car was dirty when I rented it. After my sons truck caught on fire n we stayed on the phone for 4 hrs trying to find a rental to turn in one way to ca. They charged me for an extra day + Taxes + a small amt of gas driving to temecula to turn the car in the next day +I had to clean someone else's mess!!!! NOT fair at all. I'm disabled and on ss and can't afford this so now I won't hv groceries for rest of mo!!!

I have been renting cars from this Hertz’s site for more than last 5 years and I have The Best experience ever there. All the staff there (Micheal, Maria, Daniel, Shirley and others) had been very helpful, courteous and fast. I have say special thanks to Michael who I have dealt with for so many years. Picking up the cars and dropping have never been a problem. I know they are close on Sunday and half day on Saturday and I plan per this schedule. I have rented from other companies also but Hertz is the best from my experience. Keep up the good work and service!!

Called 3 times to ask about payment methods, no answer. I come down and they don’t accept debit and I don’t have a credit card. It’s always an issue working with this place.
