If I could give a lower rating for this company I would. Being a previous employee and learning all the scams and how they operate is a complete joke. Sales representatives yelling at customers because they didn't have the customers want as a priority above their own money being made. Installation is a joke. Crews will leave handfuls of the equipment to install the solar panels and leave them on the roof. Also while putting unneeded holes in roof and not properly sealing or fixing the shingles or roof. Management where do I get started, communication with anyone in this company is irrelevant to them unless it has to effect them directly. They'll talk down to you, be little you and you'll honestly feel like there's no help or way to get information or training if you need it. I can't tell you how many times I've had complaints from customers about their sales rep, or the install team. Any advice for anyone wanting to join the company as a team member, save yourself the headache and no work hours and find something else. They'll make you a bunch of false promises just to get you for a couple months then no hours and work and they could care less. Anyone looking to get solar feom this company, look somewhere else. I promise you, this isn't a good company to get them through and you can find cheaper and better quality.

Poor customer service. Been waiting for 4 months for them to cancel my service. Still showing a loan on my report and they never started the project yet “forgot” to cancel.

The Alpha crew showed up right on time. They worked all day until the job was complete. They did an excellent installation work. They were very knowledgeable and personable. We would highly recommend this team for any future projects.

Why would I hire someone who starts out the sales pitch phone call with a lie? I just received a call stating he was calling on behalf of the electric company...not my specific electric company...first red flag. Then I asked what company he was with, and he hesitated...second red flag. Would not do business with you no matter what the sales pitch is after being lied to 5 seconds into the conversation!

Avoid this company. I installed 30 panels 8 months ago. One of them is dead, not producing, called in to get a tech out to fix it and their answer was "we don't send techs for 1 panel only", the rest are producing. Excuse me? I paid for 30 and need 30 working, not 29! They all cost hard earned money and I will not accept that as an answer. Next they say they are 30 days out for sending a tech if I still wanted to proceed, of course I did.
They talk great warranty to sell the product and this is how they respond as soon as one issue comes up. What a way to do business! Horrible!
Now waiting for the panel to get back in working order. Again, do not fall for their warranty sales tactics. The answer they provided today was simply pathetic, I asked how many panels need to be dead for you to come out? Did not have an answer other than say they are backed up. Will no longer be recommending this business to any of clients, friends and family.

Installation team and local sales rep did good work. However, the technical and customer support sides of the company were marginal at best. I think the biggest problem is that parts of the company are disconnected, and there is no leadership to facilitate communications. Their design of our system, an existing residence in a very sunny location, did not meet expectations. Energy delivery is limited by design and equipment. It does not generate enough energy to power our home/appliances as requested. Customer support after completion is weak. Hopefully they do a better job with new builds where they can provide design from the ground up. I do not recommend this company for solar installation in older residences like ours.

my frustrations continue with this company. I started the process to remove my solar panels to put on a new roof in May, 2024. Each time I called, they said someone would get back to me. Many calls later, they tell me it takes 30 days for the title transfer to occur. Once title transfer occurs, I make a ton of calls to schedule the solar panel removal.....finally getting them removed on Sept 4. Also making calls to get them reinstalled for next week. Multiple calls and emails to eventually find out that they can't schedule the reinstall until the panels are removed. They keep giving me the reason that there is a backlog from East coast weather. However, I'm in San Diego and we've had no weather issues. I would get solar panels from another company. Unfortunately, I inherited the lease when I bought the house in May of this year.

Very shady company just like all the others, they try to void your “warranty” over any little thing. I put warranty in quotes because it’s not much of a warranty when they don’t homer it and try to say somthing isn’t covered in the warranty, but when you sign up they claim your panels and the roof below are completely covered under their “warranty”.
I highly recommend going with any other company and saving yourself the hassle of them trying to charge you to get anything fixed.

I had an amazing experience with Freedom. My solar guy was with me every step of the way. We got installed and activated in a timely manner. I already recommended them to my brother and family and would recommend to anyone else looking to go solar.

It's looks like they did an excellent job installing, at this point in time. I have to wait for the weather to turn. It took two county inspections to get my system to pass on the electrical. The worst part, they didn't clean the the panels after they installed them. I called, they said sorry that happened, but they can't do nothing about it. They don't have people who come out and clean. Asked about the green and blue lights on the side of the batteries, when you open the cover. One set was blinking on one battery, the other set of lights, the green was blinking and the blue one was off. They wrote up a service call, but it will be about a month or more before someone can come out. Beware in Kern County
