When to men's cologne section, they had samples bottles, I spray on my body, the lady cashier was very rude to me, she do me, what don't buy, she was forcing me to buy it, very rude lady

Terrible service in the Mac store especially the big supervisor lady ...I had an issue with my makeup it was too dark because when I got it the girl working there gave me the wrong color because she didn't let me pick it on my own it bothers me that they don't let me shop in peace ... my man's always pays for everything maybe that's why they act dumb but the supervisor lady walked up to her employee and asked her if she was good like if I was bothering her when she should've asked me if I was good what kind of customer service is this super unprofessional I'll never go back ...stop hiring haters especially at macys its not cool let me shop in peace

I practice military law & was looking for a specific model of sunglasses by the brand Dolce & Gabbana. Unfortunately, the item is exclusive & limited in stock. The purchase is for my fiance, who is a Combat veteran in the Marine Corp. I was willing to drive over an hour to make the purchase. I called Lake Elsinore & spoke with GABRIEL. Unfortunately, upon inspection, he detected damages. If Gabriel hadn't taken the time to polish the item, I would've wasted a trip. Not only did he, advise me to make sure the store associates inspect & polish this item, but he guided me to contact 3 other locations that have the glasses in stock. I was impressed when he offered an alternate brand that carries similar sunglasses but in a variety of different colors by Rayban. He taught me how to choose and configure the correct size of sunglasses as well!! GABRIEL is the most most professional high-class service I've received in 20 years. Im originally from Europe & my standards are extremely high. I'm an avid buyer of luxury high-end brands from France & Italy. Thank you, Gabriel, for providing such outstanding service. You are truly a GOLD star!!

Service in the mens fragrance department on a Saturday was laughable. 1 counter open. 1 very arogant and rude "he". Ill just change when i go to avoid that catastrophe.

Macys has been a great store but I'm never using a gift card Visa card there again. I went to buy a pair of Michael kors shoes and I couldn't believe the horrible customer service. I tried to use a Visa card that was a gift from my husband and i tried to use it and it said declined so I called the number to get a pin and then just put a pin in after I called and it didn't work. And the lady at the store was super rude and careless. I didn't get the shoes all because they want to do a stupid transaction!! The shoes were in the store and right in front of me and the lady kept saying that I couldn't take them. I have to now wait 9-14 days for a pair of shoes that was right in front of me at the store! The Visa cards need to be fixed for the store too because I ended up going online and buying them online and the lady told me to wait for them to come in!! I can't believe the utter rudeness and carelessness of the Visa card people and especially Macys! The shoes costed $170 and my gift card had $250 on it. It's been a great store but this will be my last purchase from there.

Hanna is very helpful! I wanted to get a coat that was on sale, but couldn't find my size. She saw that it was in stock and stopped at nothing to find it! Great customer service! Thank you Hanna!!

Second floor customer service desk needs people who have a clue on how to do returns. Slow as slow comes, and if it's from an outside seller but sold by Macys, it's a complete disaster and takes like 10 min per item. Not buying these kinds of merchandise again. Please train your people well because they all seem lost and unhappy

Mary Lee in handbags, your customer service skills are something to be desired. She made a comment that she can't return clothing in the handbag department, even though she proceeded with the return. Also, it was the exact same counter where I made the purchase. Her comment just shows her laziness.

I have been a loyal Macys shopper for decades, even when they were Bullocks and Robinsons May, and sadly after tonight, I will never set foot into a Macys store again. I went in to buy a pair of shoes and the first pair I found was on the Last Act shelf. When I went to the counter to check out, they scanned the shoe and then went to the back room to retrieve the other half. The employee returned and said that even though the computer says it is in stock, he couldn't find the pair. He asked for my phone number and said if they find it tonight, they'll call me. At this point, it was 8:30 and they close at 9pm so i figured it would probably be best for me to just find another similar shoe instead. Once I found one, I gave it to the employee and he scanned the shoe and said he will retrieve the other half. After several minutes, he returned once again without the pair and said that this pair was also missing the other half. So now this is two shoes that are on the shelf for sale but are missing pairs. He told me that he would try to look for the missing shoes and if he found then he would call me. By then it was about 8:45pm. I wanted to give him the opportunity to try to look for any one of the shoes so I could at least purchase a pair of shoes like I wanted so I started walking around and went up the escalator and as I looked down at the shoe department, I saw him talking to another employee rather than "looking for my shoes" so then I just walked to the nearest counter and asked for a manager. After explaining the whole situation, the employee called the manager on the headset and the manager reluctantly agreed to meet me back at the shoe department. When I arrived, the manager basically explained that it was not their fault that some shoes are missing pairs because most of the time they don't even notice that pairs are different or wrong sizes until they are returned. I then asked if shoes are checked at the time of purchase which I've seen hundreds of times before, and he said yes but these things just happen. So then at this point I asked if I could purchase a similar pair at a discounted price and he said no. He didn't even try to work with me. He was not willing to make up for the flawed system in the shoe department. I am so disappointed in Macys. I will be paying off my Macys credit card and again, I will never set foot in a Macys again.

There needs to be more support from management to their staff. The staff are told to uphold the store policies, like the return policies, for example. When they do, many customers ask to speak to a manager, believing they are entitled because "I've been a cUsToMeR for yEaRs." Instead of the management supporting the staff that is upholding the corporate store policies, they will 100% cave into the unreasonable request they've been presented with by the entitled customer. This makes the employee that is only doing what they are told look bad. It is demeaning. Management...support your staff, not the Karens.
