The DMV was running like a well-oiled machine this Thursday when I went to test (over 70) and complete my driver's license renewal. Although the office was quite busy, I was impressed by the courteous, efficient way the staff met the needs of those of us they were serving. Thanks to all the public servants who made the experience as pleasant as possible.

Everyone please do not go to this DMV for your driving test‼ The instructor looked like he was in his 40s with a hat and plaid jacket. I failed in 10 minutes because I didn't look over-shoulder at the left turn I was making in Rancho Way. EVEN THOUGH it's a mistake in the other DMVS, but why is it a critical fail tf? He was kind of rude and I asked him a question and left quickly. I'm going to Hemet because my friends told me that they didn't looked over shoulder when they turned right or left and they passed. You can go to this DMV for your permit test, NOT BEHIND THE WHEEL. Please don't go if you want to fail‼ I'm taking my hemet test in two weeks. I'll leave you an update. Hemet DMV update: waiting

I agree with the other comments. There is a lady in there who handles appointments really needs customer service retraining. She selectively picks who she wants to help and not help with her over-inflated ego. It is borderline rude and racist at times. She cannot even write a number correctly. She wrote a 3 that looks exactly like a 5 or an S, like a 2 yr old child. This makes other employees' jobs harder trying to figure out her writing. Other employees at the counters are friendly and do their jobs diligently. No wonder that lady only handles writing notes and that she cannot even do a simple job correctly.

The lady in the pink Barbie hat needs to go back to Customer Service Training. I'm here in uniform having sat in my car the last two hours waiting on their systems to come back up (which apparently also went down for 5 hours Monday and Tuesday). I've waited patiently and only asked a question after being here two hours. The lady repeatedly cut me off and was so busy on trying to cut me down and be rude vice helping me. I'm trying to ensure I pay before expiration. With a 4 hour commute each day and given their systems have been repeatedly down I could barely get out my request for what other options might be as I want to ensure to hve this paid on time this month without incurring late fees. It's been quite a while since I've written a really negative review or interacted with someone in Customer service so effin rude. Completely unsat. I certainly hope she isn't management - I can only imagine what kind of example she's setting (other lady who initially told me systems were down was courteous) or worse how she would talk to folks under her.

Took my 2nd behind the wheel, this time at temecula, best decision I made, Nicholas was so calm and nice, he was honest and told me what I needed to fix, if you can, I reccomend asking for Nicholas as your instructor!

I took my behind the wheel, granted I did wait a while but that’s the dmv. However, the guy who I drove with was absolutely amazing! I didn’t catch his name, but he was so nice and very friendly. I hope they give him a raise, because he did not have to go as above and beyond as he did. :)

The line is so long and so crowded inside. Employees are overwork. So they tend to become grumpy.

parking it’s horrible and most horrible businesses around and empty property that people could use to park their cars, so greety other than that customer service it’s great they try their best to make fast process.

Where to begin...I'll start with the little bit of good before I get to the bad. The only reason this establishment gets more than 1-star is because the staff was mostly friendly & helpful. The Good: The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. I was able to complete what I needed to (after +3hrs).The Bad:#1. Parking: Absolute circus trying to park at this place. There are approx. 80 parking spots (not including driving test parking spots or handicapped parking) which is less parking than the posted Bldg capacity of 118 persons. The DMV staff also takes up a percentage of the available customer parking, therefore pushing customers to find parking on the street, which is fine if there was enough available parking on the street, I'm not afraid to walk a little. The street parking is limited at best because the businesses along that street need parking, and most, if not all of those businesses have parking designated for their business & "NO DMV PARKING" signs posted. There were people parking illegally on fire zone curbs (red curbs next to fire hydrants), partially parked in front of the DMV driveways & other businesses blocking traffic. No overflow parking lot, why, I don't understand. There is an empty field at the end of the street, marked tow away zone, and there is an empty area across Diaz Rd marked "no parking". DMV, recognize you have a problem with your parking situation, you get plenty of money from people with this states outrageous registration fees, you can build another parking lot for your customers.#2. VIN Verification. This was one of the most ridiculous things. I've lived all over the U.S. and never had to do a VIN verification before. That is what Title, Registration, & Insurance is for, which all has your VIN# listed. I would have "played the game" of this VIN verification without frustration, but instead of the DMV inspector walking to your vehicle in the parking lot to do this inspection, you have to drive your vehicle to the inspection lane...so after I lucked out and got a parking spot in the DMV parking lot, I had to go back out, and leave the parking spot to take my vehicle through their VIN verifiction inspection lane. I then spent another :20+ trying to find a place to park again. I ended up parking a block & a half away, probably wasn't supposed to park there either but I couldn't afford to waste anymore time trying to find parking.#3. The online appointment scheduler for this location was not working.#4. This Facility gets so packed with people, security needs to direct people to wait outside regularly so you can actually move around in the building, at times standing room only. Thankfully it wasn't summer, and I didn't get roasted outside. So there are plenty of people lining the sidewalk & parking lot, loitering about, waiting for their number to be called. The loudspeaker outside is marginal at best while you try & decipher if your number has been called. Difficult to tell the difference between "B" "C" or "D" being called over a loudspeaker outside in a busy parking lot, next to a busy road (Diaz Rd.) and often times loaded with people creating lots of background noise. It would be very helpful to have some monitors mounted outside or in the windows, so when you get corralled outside like cattle by security you can have a visual reference to verify if your number has been called over the difficult to understand loudspeaker. Yes there is a text service & web-link you get with your ticket, but those aren't always reliable. If you miss hearing your number, or you didn't get the text from the DMV automated system, or the web-link doesn't update in time...start over.#5. If this is your first visit here, be prepared to be confused. No clear posting of signs for walk-ins or no appointment. There is a sign inside for the no appt line, but anybody taller than 4ft will block it's view from anybody entering the building. Outside has two signs, one for ap

Not bad at all, I went in for a new out of state registration, and it went smoothly. I was in and out within an hour. I did have an appointment, which most likely helped speed up the process.
