Awesome experience at the fight night today. The facility is awesome. Only downside is very little parking.

TL;DR: Nice facility and coaches, BUT they are running a scam in terms of the way they conduct their SHADY payment subscription. Trust reviews that have said similar things in the past. Spoke with the front desk about freezing my membership in March with a $20 monthly payment instead of the regular $150 subscription (crazy, right?) so that my account would be temporarily inactive until I reactivate it. Long story short, they supposedly never made this change following our conversation about the account freeze and have been charging the normal rate since and then pretending as if we never had that conversation. Super unprofessional. I guess that's my fault for trusting the seemingly kind staff who, in hindsight, really had no idea what they were doing when we initially set up my account in December 2022, as they almost had to bring the whole management to the front desk to complete this process lol. Truly unfortunate. You can certainly train MMA at a significantly less expensive gym that actually respects and welcomes newcomers instead of misleading them and stealing your money with shady business tactics. Btw, some of the younger staff members (once again, in hindsight) had been incredibly rude and condescending during my first months there.

They are shady when it comes to their memberships. I told the manager that I wanted a month-to-month membership that I could cancel at any time. I ended up paying extra for this membership when compared to the year-long plan, and I ended up not liking it because I got injured while attending one of the Muay Thai classes. This happened about two weeks into my membership, and I called to cancel it that day. I spoke to someone named Spencer and he directly told me that my membership was frozen and that I would no longer be charged without my consent. Despite this confirmation, I was still charged for another month. When I called the manager about this issue, she basically told me to screw off. I finally ended up canceling my membership, but I still lost $150 for nothing. Yes, I will admit it is my fault for not requesting an official letter of cancellation. But when an employee tells me that I will no longer be charged, I would like to believe it.

They stole my money. I disliked the service here and called to get my membership canceled. They directly told me on the phone that I will no longer be charged. Before I know it, there is a $150 charge on my card from here. I called the manager to try and resolve the issue but she was pretty rude and didn't do anything to help.

I have trained and fought under this gym for 10 years. They gave me the tools I needed to make it to the UFC, they have an amazing striking program with Gustavo and Terac, to high-level striking coaches. As well as high-level Jiu-Jitsu coaches Joe and Anthony. Not to mention the man himself Dan Henderson. If you were serious about making a career out of MMA and live in the area this is the place you have to train it. If you are a beginner this is also your place please high-level coaches at work with all skill levels!

MMA can be very intimidating for a parent bringing their child for the first time. When my child and I went into Dan Hendersons gym we were both a bit nervous, excited, and overwhelmed. Kylie, who takes care of the front desk, and I am sure a lot more, was amazing, helpful, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. From day one this place was beyond my expectations. They really have a family-first atmosphere, and lead with care and education. The coaches Gustavo and Trevor are well versed in their style of fighting and have instilled a profound sense of confidence in my child, and all of this in a month. Nathan is amazing as well and helped us out big time! If Dan Henderson is anything like his employees, I cannot wait to meet him. My son will be joining soon as well as myself and I am excited for this new journey for my little family. If you are considering joining do not hesitate, I am sure that you will not regret it.

I was introduced to this gym by a friend. My son had gone to another BJJ studio but we were met with challenges. I'm happy to have Dan's studio now because everything we were not happy with is not an issue here. There is a class for beginners and they can stay for the class after to learn more. We were at a studio where the kids selected who they rolled with and there were not enough coaches to watch the 30+ students in the class. You shouldn't have a new kid rolling with an extremely advanced child. My son was getting knocked around and hurt because he wasn't being taught technique. If a parent was a coach is where you saw kids excelling. At this studio my son was given an experienced partner to start teaching him fundamentals. He then kept this same partner for the 2nd session to help him learn some technique. This random little boy told my son to stay because this is when they get to learn more. He was apprehensive and stayed. He was paired up with the kindest boy Cole! He was so patient and helpful. My son really enjoyed it. I could see the difference in how the students are taught and cared for. We are extremely excited to be a part of this gym. What's even better is there is a place for me to work out while he is in class.
