I have been banking here since 2016 and this is my review. I could literally write a book here, but I'll try and keep it short. The customer service here is lackluster. Not very pleasant if you ask me. If you're doing anything beyond a small withdrawal/deposit, the problems start. Large deposit? "Where's the money from"? Large withdrawal? "What's the money for"? Literally none of your business. It's for a United States citizen to withdraw/deposit money at the bank and use it how they please, that's what it's for. Stop roleplaying as an IRS agent. Depositing a cashier's check? Get ready to wait 5 business days so they can float your money instead of making a call to confirm the funds immediately. Making out a cashier's check? Better not lose it, because they'll put a 90-day hold on the funds if you cancel the check. I'm not kidding. The staff inside the branch aren't good for anything except taking a withdrawal that exceeds the ATM limit. Just remember -- they're going to ask you what the money's for. LOL. Anything customer service related? Just call the number on the back of your card, they'll get it done quicker and more effectively, I promise you.

I normally have no issues here, I love the staff. They are friendly and always go above and beyond. HOWEVER, my experience today was horrible. Teresa helped me at the drive thru and was INCREDIBLY rude. I was shocked, because everyone there is so nice. I've never seen her or been helped by her before, so maybe she's new? She was not helpful and rudely answered my question. She told me it would be fixed, and it wasn't. We have been banking here for years, we had a business account for our business, and have opened a personal account and multiple savings accounts. As much as I love the other staff here, we are seriously considering closing all accounts. If I ever have to deal with that woman again I will close our accounts FOR SURE.

Manager short blonde haired mature older woman makes stink eye looks at you and doesnt greet customers with smile ... I wonder how certain individuals get a job or last maintain curent position . I get phenomenal customer service at starbucks or in n out that you dont ever see at bank rancho Bernardo location is a lot more friendly if I was area district manager I'd send secret shoppers to evaluate managers mannerisms and customer service being friendly and helpful with smile can impact profoundly someone day ... I would've given this bank customer review negative stars but because bank specialist spelled my name and birth date wrong shows how much they pay attention to details and even at fast food they at least double check your order .... long story short Christopher the bank teller deserve a promotion he was only man there ... and other bank teller has was friendly seeme upper management are just smug and feel entitled and forget its customer service driven world and positivity does a lot more then a sour frown ... manger never apologized instead made smug face and said yes I know about him referring to me ....
