They refused to fulfill my order unless I provided them with"utility bill, statement, license cert or lease agreement"That's none of their business. Bad company, probably selling customer info. Would not and will buy from them in the future.EDIT: The billing address used was my shipping address, they're liars as well. Even my invoice showed the billing and shipping as the same address.

Purchased a BendPak unit from Best Buy AE. I received the lift & noticed it was 220v for a residential address? Called to inquire why I was never given the option for 110v when ordering & was told it is at the customers discretion & that I would need to specify upon order. I was very clear over the phone that the unit was going into a residential garage & I was never given an option for 110v or 220v. Very confusing why Best Buy automatically assumes their customer will want 220v without detailing that option from the start over the phone. Other than the miscommunication or lack thereof, the unit arrived & was installed within 4 weeks. Although I will need to add a 220v circuit to the garage now.

I had a great experience with Best Buy Auto Equipment outside of the install, which isn't their fault. They were very helpful with helping me select a lift, accomodating me asking to pick it up, and loading it nicely for us. But I'm going to be honest, the provided instructions might as well have been non-existent and in an alien language. They were the crappiest and most useless directions I've ever tried to work with. It took two and a half days to install this lift with two people, mostly due to the fact that the instructions skip key steps, tell you to do things in the wrong order, and don't mention issues you will run into further in the process if you do the steps they suggest. We had to deconstruct parts of this lift two or three times, and mostly reference and accompanying YouTube video to successfully build this lift. And BOY it is HEAVY. The mainstay with the hydraulics is easily 400lbs on its own. So, I definitely recommend purchasing the installation service, but in my case that wasn't an option because their recommended installers wouldn't answer my inquiries or call me back. Again, not their fault, the installers are independent of Best Buy. However, Best Buy I would HIGHLY recommend encouraging these lift brands to redo their god awful nightmarishly terribly instructions or write some yourself, and perhaps seek out installers who actually call your customers back. But the lift is super cool, and the people at Best Buy Auto Equipment were very helpful and had the best price.

I wouldn't use this outfit again. They ignore you once they get paid, they lied about my delivery time, several times. When I called the lift manufacture directly and got a firm delivery time to get the same lift from them all the sudden best buy delivered my lift. After the install the service continues to be horrible, can't get a warranty issue resolved. Buy your equipment elsewhere!

On 5/31/22 ordered a lift from Best Buy Automotive. Paid total of 5,179.68. That included shipping. They even told me the price could be higher due to increasing prices even after I paid in full. I found another lift so I wanted to cancel this one. They are telling me that they aren’t able to reverse the charges. They sure could apply them. I believe they are a rip off. Scaming people.

I would definitely not work with these guys right now. Long story short, they used a shipper that completely destroyed/lost/found/lost again an 11k lift, left me to deal with them lying and dodging me alone. After they told me to refuse it on the truck they tell me they're doing me a favor and not charging me extra to put me on a 1 month waiting list and use a new carrier. I asked for a credit and they gladly did it, and told me that every single carrier will give me the same service right now, due to COVID. I'm starting to think they've given up, just like these freight companies.

My experience with this company started off quite good. That all changed once the lift was paid for and installed. The installer did a nice job putting in my Auto Lift 9000 lb 2 post lift. My floor was perfectly level, post were level on all sides, and all measurements were checked and rechecked. Despite this the lift arms are off about 2” side to side. Best Buy Auto equipment kept directing me to Tuxedo lifts (distributor) out of Texas. Tuxedo was even worse to deal with. After hours of phone calls, taking pictures for them, emails, and playing phone tag with technicians. They eventually told me this was within specs for that lift. Spent $3000 on a lift that every car sits on uneven side to side. It is always embarrassing when someone comes to my shop and ask why the car is sitting crooked on my lift! Their answer was to compensate using the adapters that came with the lift. Horrible experience and I will never deal with Best Buy Auto Lift or Tuxedo again. Looking forward to the day I move I’m gonna sell this lift and buy a nice four post lift from a reputable company. Buyers beware when dealing with these people.

If I could leave no-stars for this company, I'd do just that. My business is in the market to buy an alignment machine and an accommodating lift. We looked around and researched and were happy to have found Best Buy Auto Equipment to service our needs for the lift. We called and thank goodness they had multiple units in stock. A down-payment was taken and financing was set up. Great, we though our equipment would be on the way only to find out there were never actually any units in stock and we would have to wait 4-8 weeks from the order date of February 16th, 2021 for them to even have the item back in stock. We paid $3,049 immediately and would finance the rest with Synchrony over a period of 6 months with no interest. In March, we received a bill to pay for equipment that we did not even have so we made a call to them to delay payments until we at least had the equipment and they stated it would be fine and sent us a follow up letter stating so. April 13th, we then received a call from Best Buy Equipment informing us that they were going to cancel our transaction and refund the money because we didn't want to pay when we had no equipment and hadn't even received an update on when it would even be in stock. The money was refunded after holding it for almost 2 months but ultimately this seemed like a bait and switch and now the whole transaction essentially was a waste. This purchase was an investment to aid our business revenue during this pandemic and it has been completely ruined due to the bad business practices of Best Buy Equipment. I will not recommend anyone to do business with this company if you are interested in handling business with integrity and efficiency. We are highly disappointed!

I got this lift to install in a new shop at my brother's. All went as planned and it works fine so far. The max load on it has been around 9500# RAM dually.

Ordered a 4 post lift. I did my homework researching and watching videos on the products before calling. The dimensions listed on the website helped. The guy that answered the phone is who helped me, no transferring around. With my specific needs of the lift, he actually helped me get the best lift for my money and saved me $500 then I was planning on spending! Very pleased with the lift and service. The cheaper lift doesn't equate to lesser quality! Shipping is difficult and scratches up some of the parts, just spray paint them, you can't really get around that damage. Just make sure nothing is dented when they deliver it is what I've heard. Don't be afraid to call and chat with them they are very knowledgeable and helpful in getting you what will work best.

I am very impressed with the lift that I purchased. It is a 9000 pound floor plate model. It was very easy to install. I can't wait to get years of use out of it!

I purchased both a lift and a rolling jack from Best Buy Automotive Equipment. I recommend them to anyone looking to buy lifts and accessories.
