Great with your animals, from what part you see. But the works need less attitude and more customer service skills.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I have to this time. I have had bad experiences with other Banfield pet hospitals in the past and I liked this location the most for my older dog. However, this past year I’ve been taking my puppy to this location and they have been rude, unorganized, and frustrating to deal with. I’ve shown up for an appointment 15 minutes early only to be told I was 30 minutes late and couldn’t be seen that day by the vet. (There was 3 daisy’s scheduled that day on the board and my guess is they mixed up her appointment with a different dog, because I called and confirmed the time that morning) Also the time I was told I my appointment was scheduled for wouldn’t have worked for me anyway and I would have told the girl on the phone to to that time so I know there’s no way I would have scheduled for that earlier time anyway. The receptionist was very rude instead of greeting with a hello she just snapped at me with a “you’re not allowed to weight your dog until I clean the scale!!” When I wasn’t even trying to weigh my dog, I was just standing waiting to check in. They also constantly tried to give my puppy a second rabies shot at every appointment and I had to get assertive with them because 3 or 4 times I provided the record from the breeder to them and they kept “losing” it and stating she needed a rabies shot. I don’t know what would happen if I hadn’t caught this detail ahead of time and they gave her a second shot only a months after getting an annual shot but I assume it’s not good for my dog. I gave them one more try today for my last visit for my dogs annual “subscription” plan and I told the girl on the phone I live 45 minutes away and need an appointment for my dog. She gave me a time and scheduled me an appointment for today at 10am. When I got there they took my dog back for a heart worm injection and test which should take 20 mins. To my surprise they told me I was scheduled for a “drop-off” appointment and it would be a few HOURS before I get me dog back. What the heck? So I waited around Temecula for 3.5 hours only to go back and ask how much longer it would be and find out it’s going to be another 2-2.5 hours! At this point I had to take my dog back and pick my son up from school. What a waste of time. My poor dog was locked up in a crate in the back for almost 4 hours for no reason. I called another vet in town and they got her taken care of same day within an hour of me calling them. I will not be going back to Banfield again.

Nice staff and clean office . i’ve taken 2 of my dogs here for routine visits and 1 for a spay surgery . surgery went well and they took great care of her . when you do bring your dog in i would bring something to read for your wait depending on how busy they are . i’ve gotten stuck in the office for a few hours before but that’s ok since i was just able to work when i waited for my dog. if you have a puppy it’s worth it to do their puppy care plus plan for $60 some dollars a month . my dog has gotten all of her shots including limes disease and when i lived in orange county i struggled to find a vet that had that shot and would give it to my dogs.

i have been really trying to give this location a chance, but their customer service is not it. i've met with some really awesome vets here, and the nurses that have seen my puppy have been great. but the ladies at the front desk... oof. not a fan. every time i come here they're not nice and come across judgmental. but today was the final straw for me. i needed to come pick up my puppy's flea medicine, i called over an hour in advance and let them know i was going to come pick it up. i asked them what time they closed, they said 6pm. i said "okay! i'll be there before you close." i got there at 5:40pm, and they're closed early?! wtf?? they knew i was coming, i told them i was coming, and also their hours are posted to be open until 6. what the hell! i'm a working woman otherwise i would've came in earlier. and i don't have any time in the next few days to get it, so i guess my puppy is going to be late on her flea medicine, because they weren't open when they said they would be.

BANFIELD SUCKS UPDATE We went to Banfield for our appointment and the vet told us that our dog, a boxer, has Pancreatitis from the anesthesia from his surgery. I asked them to do a fecal test. They did the test and said it was negative. However, they did prescribe a medication called Flagyl. I looked it up when I got home and it is specifically used for Giardia, parasites and bacteria. I didn't trust the diagnosis and took my dog to an emergency hospital. He had already lost 6 pounds and was very sick. Here's the kicker. While we were waiting for the Dr at the hospital my other boxer had a huge blowout and vomited. So, does this mean the Banfield Pancreatitis is contagious. Not aa chance. My dog did, indeed, catch a bug from Banfield My contention is that my dog was contaminated at Banfield and they had no intention of owning the problem. They would rather watch the dog become sicker and sicker rather than admit their office caused it. They bald faced denied it and I am livid. I would have had no problem if they would have owned the problem and jumped right on to the cure. But, they would rather let my dog become sicker and sicker and then infect my second dog. SHAME ON BANFIELD for injuring animals in exchange for their reputation. btw: My dogs have recovered.

I had an unfortunate experience at Banfield. I had a confirmed appointment scheduled, and I had to drive 50 mins each way to get my dog checked for preventative care & vaccines updated. The long drive was because it's the only place that we can get the earliest appointment. So, when I showed up... my appointment wasn't in their system. I showed them proof that we have the appointment at said time and location. Even with proof, they refused to see my dog. I was so disappointed with how they weren't trying to right it or understanding that the mistake was on their part. It's like "*shrugs* sorry." Don't even bother replying to this comment, Lisa. It's not going to change anything as we've decided to not use Banfield's service anymore.

I found all the staff very courteous, helpful, and so nice. The appointment look longer than I thought but only because they were making sure my old puppy girl was checked out thoroughly. I'm very lucky to have such a place so close by. Thank you for being so kind to us.
