My daughter needed to switch from our account to her own. It took a while to do everything we needed to do. Jimmy was amazing, great customer service. He was the only one working and it was slightly busy. He was patient, and very personable. He was juggling all of us and never once seemed stressed. I would recommend this store and their employees to anyone looking for not only great phone service, but if you're wanting excellent customer service and knowledgeable help, this is it! i had phone issues and Jimmy, and Shianna were so AMAZING! They're so caring, kind and go above and beyond for their customers! Great assets to this company! Thank you

Do yourself a favor and call Verizon or go to a corporate store. This place wasted my time and did not hold up on their guarantees. I spent several hours in store and on the phone, I estimate about 20 hours. I Finally drove to a corporate store in Bakersfield and my concerns and their mistakes were fixed in minutes.

I went into this store on Dec 16th to upgrade my iPhone and was offered a free Apple watch as part of a promotion (not a real promotion according to Verizon). I was upsold some accessories and told they were 30% off as another promotion. No discount was applied, and I was not provided with a bill of sale or receipt. Jimmy L also added protection plans to my devices without my permission. I was charged some kind of setup fee but the devices were not set up. The watch doesn't even work. I am trying to talk to a manager for a resolution - no luck so far. I was cheated by this store. - Victra reached out to me and credited the excessive charges to my account. I still would not visit this store again.

Went in recently and was told by the gentleman I was next in line. 2 older ladies walked in and we all sat waiting for about 45 minutes. Once he finished with the customer he was with he proceeded to tell me that the 2 older ladies had an appointment and would go ahead of me and would take awhile as they were setting up a new line and such. Following that he would need to go to lunch so he could schedule me for later that afternoon (4 hours later!) I said forget it and drove to the Verizon in Bakersfield on California Ave. I will never go into this store again. 3 times now I have had horrible customer service with varying circumstances. Had he told me as soon as they walked in I wouldn't be so upset, but instead let me sit there for 45 minutes and asked me to come back 4 hours later. How rude. I will just go to the California Ave Verizon from now on, your better off not going here, give your money to the folks on California Ave. They are super nice, and service is fast.

I would just like to say, that every time I have been in to the Verizon store over the last month or so, the customer service has been wonderful! Shout out to Jimmy L and Victoria. Your patience and kindness did not go unnoticed : ))

This review is for Jimmy not the company as a whole. I would not recommend the company because of how they respond to false reviews below and how they short staff their store. Jimmy is the only person working each time I have been to the store. He is smart, hard working and multi tasks. I have witnessed him being called derogatory names because people had to wait their turn in line. What a toxic work environment, yet Jimmy smiles and maintains professionalism. To the customer below: how do you leave the store with a physical device in your hand and claim not to know what you read, signed for and left with? Sounds like the old familiar story to get out of paying for something you don't want anymore, who leaves a device they own at a store? And if the other store is so great why can't they issue you a credit through corporate? See, I've worked in the industry for many years and have since retired, I'm well aware of customers like this, and the store you love agreed with you to get another sale.. STOP! To Victra: give Jimmy a raise and an opportunity to excel by properly staffing the store and supporting your best employee! Rather than respond to reviews, get in the store and assist the customers with your one and only employee! Please feel free to contact me for more information.

Went in the store today to return a box we didn't want was told never to come in the store again. Jimmy L. was the rep. again. I left the box unopened on the counter and we were told we had to wait in line for three other customers. Been there done that. I wasn't going to wait for returning a box I never wanted in the first place. "Customer Circus" all over again. Don't waste your time. Too stressful to deal with. If you are a Verizon customer go to the Bakersfield store @ 3800 California Ave. That is a corporate office. Make an appointment first or you'll have to wait. These people are pros and know what they are doing.

As stated many times in these reviews, the customer service is horrible. I've lived here ten years and have had only one acceptable experience. All other visits, I have vowed upon leaving the store to make a complaint. These people are not knowledgeable, apathetic, and are obviously not trained regarding even a slight consideration of Customer Service. They simply lack common sense that leaving people waiting for an hour is not acceptable service. I am simply here to pay a bill today. So far, I have been waiting 56 minutes, and the two people who were waiting in front of me have left. Absolutely unbelievable!! BTW, it is Eric who is our one and only nonprofessional that is on "duty" in store today.

I arrived frustrated and discouraged after several failed troubleshooting attempts with Verizon phone agents. Jimmy did an outstanding job in recognizing my immediate needs and provided superior customer service to rectify my situation. He was working a full store on his own and displayed effortless ability to navigate each customer’s individual needs. Thank you, Jimmy!
