How do you not know where an address is can you not use Google maps. It's not hard to put in an address to a place that is literally 11 mins away from your facility. Jesus christ.

Tehachapi up-charges PO Boxes approximately $30.00 more than Los Angeles, Orange County USPS. Not a convenient location for the residents and not an adequate amount of counter help. Too long of lines for the elderly customers who are the majority of the area.

They lose more packages than they deliver and can’t seem to figure out how international shipping works. This is the worst run post office I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Why can’t any phone system ever connect you with a live agent. I’m 26 years old and can’t navigate the automated phone system. Pathetic. Worst experience ever, I couldn’t get any help at all.

I am a disabled senior who lives alone. I broke my only walker and ordered a replacement from Amazon.I not sure why Amazon chose usps for the delivery of a 28 lb package but they did. I spoke with Amazon and the postal service and they guaranteed me it would be delivered to my door. I received a call from Tammy at the Tehachapi office where she said it would not be delivered because my home was more than half a mile from my box and the carrier refused to do it because of her contract. She said i could only pick it up at the office which i cannot due do to my disability. She suggested that I inconvience some one else to go pick it up .It's terrible how poor this post office treats their disabled customers. I'm having them just ship the walker back to Amazon.I hope this lazy carrier learns how to take care in the future of a handicapped customers order. I hope she never becomes handicapped herself and has to experience the poor service she gives. One thing is for sure, I will never allow anything I purchase to go through the post office again. Hopefully they soon will be obsolete. Very very poor customer service. Exceptions can always be made. Even the post master could make the effort to deliver it but it's obviously not important to him either. Shame on this post office. It's certainly changed for the worse in the past ten years.

Great post office. Very fast and friendly staff. Always more than one employee when I have gone in.

So awful… I’m almost dumbstruck at the idiocy happening here. First, I submitted a change of address and the person inputting it sent me a change of address verification saying some guy from Arkansas was moving in with me. When I called, the rude woman who answered said she could not help me and hung up on me. I found a fraud line via google. They told me that they’d look into it and get back to me. After trying them back several times we finally quit playing phone tag and after 20 mins of talking, they finally figured out it was their error. A data entry error. If that wasn’t bad enough, now they’re no longer delivering any packages to my door from Amazon. I live on a corner with easy access too. I pay for shipping yet must go in and collect my boxes? Wow just wow… They will keep losing business to UPS unless they start hiring better staff. Yikes!

Don’t bother calling. The phone number is for USPS customer line. You will talk to a robot in circles until someone answers that will redirect you to visit the post office in person. The gentleman that brought us our mail keys was very kind and helpful.

Couple weeks ago a package of mine was showing delivered to Tahachapi. I waited days until the package was delivered to my mailbox/package box. Today I went in for a package that the USPS websight said was at the Tehachapi office. The website said it was NOT out for delivery. Well, it is on the delivery truck I was told which is fine...except last package took 4 days to get on the truck and this package I have until tomorrow to return it if I do not like it. I was treated sarcastically at the Tehachapi office. No respect whatsoever. Forwarned, I give what I get. I can be an a** also. So don't be surprised.

If the USPS refuses to deliver boxes to homes in BVS and hold our deliveries hostage, they should at the very least be open later for mail pick up. Most people are working and cannot make it there by 5pm during the week. I had an important package I need today only to find a slip stating I need to go pick it up at the post office across town and it’s now 5:30pm. The delay of this package will cause me time, gas and about an additional $40. All they have to do is leave the box, I’ve said I will sign a waiver to leave it outside the mailbox or even at the foot of my driveway if it’s too far to go all the way to my door. Just really fed up with this today, it’s become every single box lately.
