So many choices to come and see while in Tehachipi, so we stopped at this one and so many cute items. I happened to be looking for a wine bottle opener and they had these cute ones to choose from I chose the one that said "I am woman, hear me pour!" That's me! There are other items, clothes and decorations to choose from. So cute!

This boutique/ gift store is no longer located on Brian way in Golden Hills. I have contacted Yelp to change this. It is now next door to the famous Tehachapi Bakery, Kohnens. In the Fall Tehchapi held a fashion show and there were about six vendors there. The Dressing Room happened to be one of them. I instantly saw the sugar skull hand painted Anuschka purse and wallet. I was definitely not looking to buy that day, Christmas was around the corner and I had way to many people to buy for. I guess you could say I am not a fashionista, I buy my kids really nice clothes from expensive places but not me. So I just kept staring at this purse, I would walk away and then come back. Debbie was working the vendor booth and she was so kind. I kept holding it, looking at it and basically drooling. So I decided I would call my husband and tell him about it. Honestly he wasn't impressed. I have a picture on my walls of sugar skulls, thigh tattoo of sugar skulls and many other things. It just made sense that I should have this set. So after lots of persuading I got the go ahead. Debbie hugged me and was so excited because she knew how bad I wanted this set. We put it away for Christmas and the kids wrapped it up for a couple months. I couldn't wait to use it. Well today I went in and talked to Debbie, she only works on Monday's. She asked me where my purse was, I told her I have not used it yet. She was shocked considering how excited I was to purchase it. I told her I am afraid something will happen to it because it is hand painted. She told me that I have to use it, it's not doing any good stored away. Debbie showed me the key chain that matches my set, boy do I want it! I was told of course in a playing way that I can not buy it until I come in using my purse and wallet. So I am going to take it out tonight and start using it tomorrow. I will load a picture of it also. This store has beautiful clothes, unfortunately they are boutique prices and above my budget for myself. The brand Jess and Jane has blouses and sweaters that are exactly what I would love to wear but the prices are about 60-70$ for a shirt. I think if I was dressing up and needed a really nice outfit, I would definitely look here. The gift items I would say are moderately priced, but very cute. Debbie is wonderful and when I visit the store it will be on a Monday, great customer service.

From the moment I walked in I felt at home....a little bit of everything.....the quality of the clothes.... jewelry..... gifts was amazing......went there every day I was in town.....awesome ladies ...... love the town and the locals!!!!!
