On a vacation get away to Tehachapi and needed a few things for our room, so we headed down to the chevron, which has the coolest market. Everything from food to house slippers and a neck pillow. Customer service was awesome. Shout out to Jackie. We had a good time talking to her. She was super friendly and helpful. This a cool spot for a small town.

Avoid their produce! I didn't want to drive all the way to Tehachapi for some potatoes and onions, so I went to the general store. They had a couple of shelves of produce that was way past its prime. There were no prices listed. I ended up paying about $14, but I didn't realize until it was too late. It was $1.49 for each potato regardless of size or weight.

Awesome family owned store! Love the friendly staff and the friendly pricing! Whether you forget something from town or just don't feel like driving, pop on in. They have an extremely large selection so its not often they don't have what you need. Absolutely recommend it!

It's obvious not many people of color come into this establish and the employees make that obvious. By how they stare you down, they'll greet other non POC customers that came in afterwards. I need this business to know that this is NOT the 1930's. You can't behave like your ancestors. It's 2022 treat people with RESPECT. If it's possible to give 0 stars I would. Thank you.
