Marianne and Brittany were wonderful. They helped me so much. I was able to fill my prescription that was not available at my local pharmacy, or another pharmacy out of town. It was worth the 22 mile drive! And Marianne helped me get a discount which I really needed. Btw, this is not my regular pharmacy.

You sell already fraudulently stolen gift cards to elderly customers and do NOTHING to help them. You should be effing ashamed of yourselves. I'm reporting you to the BBB.

My doctor called in a prescription for d3. A very high once weekly prescription... and when I called to get it done and make sure it was ready for pickup some teenager told me that they sell d3 on the shelf and that it's cheaper for me just to buy it then to get a prescription filled because my insurance won't cover it. So I wasted my time coming in to get the shelf supply, only to find out that my vitamin d3 prescription is 5 times stronger than anything they sell on the shelf for the same price out of pocket for one prescription of my high dose. Now I have to go all the way back home and then all the way back into town to pick up a prescription that should have been ready. Listen kids, if you find yourself working at a pharmacy counter yet you're not a pharmacist, keep your opinions to yourself and just fill the prescription. I'd rather pay $24 for my prescribed d3 1250 micrograms then buy 5 bottles of it on the shelf! By thinking you're as smart as a train pharmacist what you actually did was waste my time.

Staff is always friendly. The pharmacy works fast on prescriptions here, faster than other places in town. Recommend. :)

Shelly went above and beyond today to give excellent customer service. I just had surgery and my car is in the shop and no one could go to Rite Aid for me. Shelly grabbed the important things I needed, brought them to my home, and refused to accept a tip. They do not make them like her anymore. Thank you again, you saved me.

This store is false advertising free flu vaccines and once they have you in there they try and charge $80. Didn't you see the fine print? When making appointment nothing said. Walgreens from now on, at least we know the price

The store employees are so dumb. They tell people to come pick up prescriptions whenever and then when you get there, they tell you the pharmacist just left for ac hour for lunch

Since my family moved to Tehachapi two and a half years ago, we tried Walgreens and Walmart pharmacies. Had horrible experiences at both. Just awful customer service. Then we switched to Rite Aid around 4 months ago and have been so pleased and surprised by how great their service has been. When they tell you your wait will be a certain amount of time, they aren't lying to you (what an awesome change!). If the medication is out of stock, they tell you immediately, not after you have been waiting for hours or days (also completely opposite from the other two). But, the real reason why I'm writing this review is because of outstanding service we received a few weeks ago. My 6 year old daughter was suffering from a bad sinus infection and her doctor at Cedar-Sinai in LA prescribed her a strong antibiotic. I went to Rite Aid to pick it up same day and the pharmacist had the professionalism and caring to ask me how much my daughter weighed. I told him 48 pounds and he said what they prescribed was an overdose. He then called Cedar-Sinai and straightened out all out, getting her the correct dosage. I'm so thankful that he went out of his way to inquire about her weight, because we, as parents, would have had no idea that we were overdosing our child. So, thank you to that pharmacist and Rite Aid. You guys are awesome.

The pharmacist is extremely incompetent and rude on the phone. We got a text and recorded phone call to let us know that a prescription was ready and when we arrive, it was not available. The next day, we call and speak to the pharmacist and he told us that the prescription is ready. Upon arrival, we are told that the prescription was not ready due to an error from the doctor. We cleared everything up with his doctor within 5 minutes and the pharmacist told us that everything was good but the prescription wouldn't be ready for another 4 hours.

Store is great location and was convenient for what I needed; however, I've noticed overall that prices in RIte Aid have gone up nationwide.

I moved to Tehachapi in 2016. When I lived in L.A. I went to the Rite Aide on National and Sawtell, never had a problem filling a prescription. Totally different story up here. Since moving here, not once have I had an easy time filling a prescription. Every time there has been an issue. I thought my favorite one was when I went to fill my prescription and they told me Since I'd been getting my prescriptions in L.A., I needed to drive back to L.A. and fill it there. But this was the clincher, I go to drop off my prescription and they said the couldn't fill it because the Dr didn't write in her address under her name. Really??? The prescription paper had her name and address printed on the letterhead. The pharmacist told me to go back and have the Dr write the address on the line under her name. I drove back told the front desk she went back to the Dr and then handed my prescription back to me. I go back to Rite Aide hand the paper to the pharmacist and since it was written with a different pen, he practically accused me of forgery. I get a text the next day to pick up my prescription and out of the 3 that I should of gotten, I only received one of them. With that, I collected the unused prescriptions, took out my "Wellness" card, put it down on the counter, and told the person waiting on me I would take my business elsewhere. Too bad for you Rite Aide, you just lost a customer.
