We stayed in a furnished corporate rental at The Meadows for 6 months. It was a nice two bedroom apartment, in good condition, well maintained, comfortable, and well furnished, including a well supplied kitchen. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our questions and needs. Neighbors were friendly. No noise issues. We felt secure. Ample covered parking. Convenient to Tehachapi stores and restaurants. And some very tasty apples on the tree in front of our apartment! We would not hesitate to return here in the future and recommend it.

Having been here for years, we've enjoyed some of the neighbors and the weather. Jodie, the manager, has always been helpful, within her job constraints. Whenever tenants have quetions, she listens. However, with increasing rents and concerns of safety and neighborhood consideration, we see more moving out, often those we've become friends.

When we first came to the Meadows, a delightful lady names Frankie was a main reason we rented. We also enjoyed the ambience, the neighbors, and coming home after work and "chilling out." Times have changed over the years. Concern regarding things in need of repair (The small maintenance staff does very well, but they can only work on assigned work.), discussions regarding issues of safety, and tenant quality changing, also rising rents which we have heard concerns, moreso with the elderly and those of fixed incomes. Necessary concerns are shared with the office, and we hope for improvements. Time will tell. When we came, we liked Tehachapi, and times are changing, however, we also know things that can improve with effort taking things towards higher roads.

Jodi Jasper and Susan Enslow manage our building. They are both outstanding, competent managers. Becky and I were property managers in Seattle for 24 years. We know good management. Easy to talk with and quick on responses to inquiries and problems. We are very happy with their management.Rick and Becky Eckel

Great place to live, clean, quiet and peaceful.Units are well kept and the staff is polite friendly and helpful, especially Jody Jasper.Only reason for leaving was the purchase of a home otherwise would still be there.

The Meadows are apartments that feel like your living in your own little home with a large fenced backyard. No one above or below you. I am so grateful to have found this place. The neighbors are friendly and the staff are awesome!Miss Jodi Jasper is the first face you see when you walk through the office door. Miss Jasper is warm and welcoming even when I may have an issue with something or even a question. Which thankfully isn't that often.I would also like to add that their maintenance crew T.K. and Pedro in particular have always been friendly and efficient. T.K. always shows up when he says he'll be there. T.K. is a hard worker as well as Pedro. These guys are the BACKBONE of the Meadows.Without them on the job, working hard to keep everything working smoothly, the Meadows Apartments couldn't stand on its looks and front staff alone. The Meadows is a clean, safe, and relaxing place to live. I really enjoy living here.

I love living here at The Meadows. All the apartments are two bedroom, single story with a lovely backyard.I’ve lived here for three years, and Jodi, Susan, Pedro, and TK are very helpful and very nice.

I have been a resident of The Meadows for 10 years and before that I lived at the Orchard on Mill St for 2 years. The Meadows is a very enjoyable place to live and the manager Jodi and general manager Susan are always quick to help when needed with a smile on their face. Tk and Pedro the maintenance guys do a good job getting my maintenance issues taken care of, and my dogs like them which is important to me.

I have lived at The Meadows Apartments for nearly five years. The manager, Jodi Jasper and Susan Enslow are readily available and problems are handled quickly. The maintenance men (Tovey Moody and Pedro Trujillo) are great and helpful. I appreciate all of them. especially with the current pandemic. I managed apartments quite a few years ago and recognize quality employees. kudos.

We have lived here at the Meadows for just over 5 years. We love it here. Our favorite and most used feature is having a back yard. Susan and Jodi are always very helpful, friendly and polite whenever we speak. The matanance team is great, things get taken care of and sometimes I even learn something new. Often times I see the employees go above and beyond to help tenants let it be assisting with something heavy or stopping to check in with a senior. These little actions say alot. Many of the tenants here have lived here 8 plus years, at first I thought that was crazy, but now I totally get it!

TK & Peter are life savers!!! Super friendly and always a great helping hand! We didn't put plug in our dryer correct you and they didn't mind fixing it!!

The Meadows is a safe and secure apartment complex. Loved the security gate and set up of the apartments. Jodi is awesome in placing perspective occupants in areas best fit for them. These apartment are centrally located for easy access to stores, activities and freeways. Quick response to needs and emergencies that may arise. The private backyards can be turned into a getaway oasis. Best place in Tehachapi to rent and live! Staff is like family and very friendly!
