I am very impressed with this business. I'd left a message and received a call back today. I was having trouble putting a belt on my Kenmore Elite upright. I took out the screws and couldn't open it up. Well, the gentleman asked me if it had the forward motion and it did. He said that model didn't have a belt so I should just put the screws back in and push the reset button and it worked. I vacuumed my whole house. Thank you so much for your help.

Online says they are open but sign says appointment only don't knock or try to open the door. I guess trying to keep my business local was a mistake.

Finding a fast, efficient, and friendly vacuum cleaner repair business in Kern County has been tough. Two in Bakersfield have gone out of business, and I recently had the opportunity to do vacuum cleaner service at Garners in Tehachapi. Their intake person (Cody) was very friendly and listened to the problems I was having with the vacuum, then gave me a fair estimate, and an realistic timeline about when it would be completed. It was a little bit of a drive from Bakersfield, but well worth my time.

My wife brought her vacuum in for repair. Let me first say let the buyer beware with this business. My wife should have ensured that the vacuum was working before she left the shop. However, she got it home to find out that she paid over $100 for a used bag, with the vacuum still broken. I tried repeatedly to call this business, but just got an automated message saying that they are unavailable. With how my wife was treated I find this business to be very unethical.

Sew & vac are one of the nicest businesses in town very friendly , very inviting , and very helpful. You don't find that around our small town. So it was a surprise when I walked in and greed with A smile on their face. Would recommend them to anybody. And come to find out the owner sells guns too.

Today was the second time I have used Garners, very helpful, he actually gave me advice on what to try w my vacuum before I turn it in for repair & he was also honest on what he would have to charge me before I even turn it in, very honest, & I appreciate it!

Wonderful service. Had a problem with my Brother computerized machine. Called and they said they could fix it. I live about 30 miles away from them. So I took it to them. They gave me the price and when it would be done. Both where delivered as promised. Will be taking my machine there for regular check ups.
