Avoid their produce! I didn't want to drive all the way to Tehachapi for some potatoes and onions, so I went to the general store. They had a couple of shelves of produce that was way past its prime. There were no prices listed. I ended up paying about $14, but I didn't realize until it was too late. It was $1.49 for each potato regardless of size or weight.

Great service! Very kind staff. Always a good place to go. I wish the hours could be extended. Sometime I get off work to late to stop here on my way home.

Rarely do I have a good experience whenever I shop here. Either the person waiting on me starts talking with or waiting on another person before she's finished with me or I'm ignored and have to wait to be noticed or I'm not given a thank you for coming in. Recently I've tried to get my propane tank filled and called in beforehand to make sure someone was there to do it. I was told there was and when I got there, this person had just gone on break. I decided to wait since this has been attempt number two in one week here. When I finally got my tank filled, I didn't receive friendly service from him or the person checking me out. Makes me feel like if you don't know these people personally, it must be okay for me to be treated poorly. So disappointing for a locals store.

It's obvious not many people of color come into this establish and the employees make that obvious. By how they stare you down, they'll greet other non POC customers that came in afterwards. I need this business to know that this is NOT the 1930's. You can't behave like your ancestors. It's 2022 treat people with RESPECT. If it's possible to give 0 stars I would. Thank you.

Stallion Springs General Store has just about anything you could possibly need from gasoline to homemade cookies! You can fill your propane tanks, get Blue Bunny ice cream & a bottle of wine all in one store. The owner & all the staff are friendly & helpful.

Awesome general store in Stallion Springs. You can grab your gas in front at the Chevron pumps and do your shopping while your there. I am so impressed with everything that is available in this store. It's 20-25 minutes to Tehachapi from here and would be a pain if you just needed to grab something. This has to make life so much easier for the people who live in this area. They have great hours and I was nicely greeted by three people and two of them asked if I needed any help. They have baking supplies, medicine, car supplies, pet food, they even have a great selection of spices. I saw they even have some produce. So many things, it's just to much to mention Of course, you can find the snacks that every little convenience store has. This place is so much more than that. I have to mention that every isle I went down was stocked so nice.

Honestly it is the best little store. Can pretty much count on them having anything I forget to get in town. Who would think they would have organic cumin that I needed for my chili today. Thanks guys.
