“I was over two thousand miles from home, no family or friends close enough for help. Two other local shops had either flat out would not help or wanted to sch well into the following week. It was Thursday morning shortly b4 lunch. I spoke to Jeff at Murphys and didn't promise anything,however he did say to come right over and he would at the very lease,take a look. Shortly thereafter,a diagnostic fee was charged,an estimate of additional work .by close of business a new splug,helicoil,ignition coil was installed. Jeff kept his word ,honored his estimate.His entire crew is top notch and you should call him if you need work done on your car.”

“When we had a flat tire on the freeway, we tried to google the best tire repair place in the area. This is the highest rated one. We install the spare and drove to the place. We got there maybe 10 minutes prior to them opening. The tire-man, named Oscar came on time to open the shop. He is very pleasant and friendly, he served the 1st customer in line, then proceeded to check our busted tire and patched it up, re-install our newly patched tire in less than 10-15 minutes. It took just maybe 15-30 minutes including the wait for them to open and serve the first customer in line. So glad they open that early and they work fast and efficiently.”

“I went to this place on a Tuesday rite after I changed an EVAP solinoid and erased the code. I let him know what I had done and he told me I need to drive it a couple days for the sensors to recalibrate. Not only did he let me know this but hooked up his scanner to show me. He did this at no charge Instead of just trying to smog it and charge me for the service. So I went back in once all the sensors were calibrated and he got me rite in and rite out for $60. Really friendly man and knows what he's doing. If you need a smog this is a definite place to go”

“I took my F 150 for a front end Alignment,l had taken this truck to 2 different companies for front end alignment the First one said that’s the best they can do with out major repairs on front end. The steering wheel was crooked and pulled to the right bad. The second company would not align with out repairs. I called Scott’s body and wheel alignment, made an appointment they aligned the front end and the steering wheel was straight. They suggested to replace tires the truck drives like a new truck! “I can't say enough positive things about Pro Tech, the staff and service. I have a home in Tehachapi and my shop and other home is in Northern California. Without fail, my van develops a small and annoying problem when I am here a couple of times a year. This time, it was the high pressure power steering line. Two other shops couldn't be bothered to even look at it so I had been told it was the steering box. I swung by to have it looked at Pro Tech and the owner told looked at the van and told me it wasn't the steering box or its seals but the high pressure power steering line. He told me to get the line and make an appointment, which I did and when the line came in to the auto parts store, I made an appointment. I dropped the van off with the line, got a ride from staff to my home and quickly the line installed, an hour labor and my van back in order. 5 stars all around for the experience. I recommend Pro Tech on J Street to anyone who want's an honest business man and business that clearly operates with integrity. 5 stars for Pro Tech, Tehachapi.”
