I am so encouraged and happy we found this place!! There was a lady in our Bible study that was looking for a new car. She asked my wife and I to come with her. We went to go look at the vehicle with her, and the owner was amazing. And had great cars on the lot!! If I ever need a new car I would be so happy if we could purchase one from them!!! Thanks you guys for running a great local business!!

I bought a 2011 Jeep Rubicon from Marlon here at Ashmore Motors. From the moment I stepped on to the lot until he handed me the keys, this was a great experience!!! I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service and attention exhibited. No hard sell, no pushiness, no "used car lot" vibe. Just a family-owned business catering to the citizens of the Tehachapi area and serving them so very well. A proud 5-star rating from me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Located on Green Street Ashmore Motors is a standout of Tehachapi businesses. Small lot and not a huge inventory but you wont find overpriced junk. Every vehicle on their lot is sparkling clean, with a variety of makes and models and all priced very reasonably. Looking for a pick up, 3/4 ton for my wife in order to pull the horse trailer, so I check frequently. Saw a Chevy, 2500, 4dr, 6 liter, 4x4, tow package, low mileage and clean as a whistle. Price was on the right side of reasonable, so met with Bob Mayberry who arranged for a test drive. Extremely friendly without any pressure, dealing with Bob was like dealing a an old friend. Truck was everything we wanted so we took it. Drove it home that night.Two days later an issue arose, not the fault of Ashmore Motors, but requiring the vehicle to be towed to a local mechanic who had failed to tighten the carriage bolts on the drive shaft when the truck was in for pre sale maintainence. When I called Ashmore Motors I talked with Brandon who immediately arranged for Marlon (Co owners) to drive out to my house and set up a tow service assuring me they would rectify the problem without any expense to me. Within two hours the truck was delivered back to me. Needless to say I was a very happy with the whole experience.Would not hesitate returning to Ashmore Motors if the need arises as well as referring them to friends. I feel I made three good friends out of the deal..
