What a scammer! Very unprofessional and completely unreliable. Had to get appliance service elsewhere

We called Art's Appliance Repair to come repair our refrigerator as the ice maker was leaking. Art came out, replaced the ice maker. We immediately advised Art the ice maker was still leaking, substantially. Art came back out, said he had to replace a hose, would come back. Art never came back. Attempted to reach Art for several weeks by phone and text, no answer. After another several weeks Art finally answered his phone. We reminded him of our repair that still needed to be done and his response was, "Oh SHIT!" Well, we're done! We then contacted a reputable company and they came out and repaired our ice maker, no problem.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Called Art to have my oven repaired he came out and charged me $65 for the service call. I asked for a written estimate, and he immediately started backpedaling. He did not want to leave anything in writing. Said he would only give it to me after the job was done. Then after further conversation he said he would come by later that afternoon and give me a written estimate. He never showed up, I called him multiple times for 3 days and he never returned my call. Not only did I loose my $65 but also now I've been without an oven for even longer! So heads up, he is sketchy and a crook!
