It is sad business owners feel like they have kick people out of their parking lot. It was really sad to see. The owner of the store telling people to leave because they are using the parking. I will never buy from this store ever again. Id rather go to the gas station across the street.

Great small convince store right at the edge of the border. Has good selection of cold drinks, some grocery items to make a lunch if needed, and snacks.

Their meats are really good, especially their bacon and ham which, of course, goes well with bread made in Tecate, Mexico.There are also other things which I have a hunch that they cannot be found in San Diego, much less in other small towns around the county, but I haven't checked that out myself.Notwithstanding, this is a great place to get your American stuff, though. Which is why it deserves 5 stars given its location!

This store has gone bad under the new owner. The owner is very rude and the store now smells bad. Selection is getting worse and it won't be long before this store will close. Public restrooms are required for any store more than 20,000 square feet in area. This total area includes adjacent stores owned by the same owner. This is a Code Violation.

I visited TC Worthy this morning and talked to the new owner about buying meat in bulk. I've been a customer here for 50 years and was friends with Jack Skinner who was the previous owner. The new owner is extremely rude, beyond belief, he went off on me. He insinuated that I was "Trailer Trash" and told me if I can get meat cheaper somewhere else, then do it. He will not stay in business long with this bombastic rudeness. Well, I'm going to take his advice, and do my shopping elsewhere. Goodbye TC Worthy.

Today at 8:30 AM, After traveling from La to go to Tecate, I needed to use the restroom badly! Especial since I am suffering from a UTI! And I had already been holding it in for 15min. I was in excruciating pain! I stopped here since it's our usual stop before entering Mexico. I asked the lady a Mexican older lady, with glasses, if I could use the restroom! She looked at me and yelled NO we don't have any restrooms! ( okay if you really don't have restrooms where do your employees go?) I of course was going to purchase something in exchange of the use of the restroom! I'm was begging her! Literally! She said no to go somewhere else! I literally left crying and humiliated! I will NEVER give my business to them again! You and your workers need to show human compassion and judge it case on case! I hope your daughters, wives and mothers never get treated like I did!
