Sam, owner of Rubicon Electronics, is a wonderful man who deeply cares for his customers. My friends and I have been frequenting Rubicon for decades. I'm sorry I haven't praised his services before now. We bring him every type of audio equipment from lowly Sherwood receivers to my own EAR 890 amplifier (lowly in cost). He repairs obsolete equipment as well as more modern gear. He upgrades parts when possible. He also repairs video equipment. The most common repair are capacitors, electrolytic type. They dry out over time. His replaces belts, gears, doors and other type of moving parts that fail/wear out over time. His prices are quite reasonable for labor as the parts costs are fixed by the market. We highly recommend Sam and Rubicon as your shop to repair your electronic gear. He also sells good quality, excellent condition older used audio/video electronics.

I asked Ray to fix a DVD that was not playing correctly. I had tried everything and had little hope left. Not only did he go above and beyond to meet me halfway to pick it up so I would not have to drive to the valley, he fixed the DVD within 24 hours for a fantastic price. Very professional and a great guy! I would recommend this service to everyone!

I've brought in cameras and VCRs to get repaired. They always did a great job at a great price! Also had old film reels transferred to dvd which came out great and reasonably priced. I highly recommend!!!

I took my stereo receiver in because I thought it was broken. They tested it out and it was fine. He figured out that it was my speakers that were causing the problem. The owner is very knowledgeable and good to work with.

Victor transferred over 40 home movies that I found in my parents home. They started in 1955. They were before VHS. He was highly recommended by another archive specialist, because he does the old film. It is rare to find somebody who can do this work. He is reasonably priced for such tedious work. It will take me quite awhile to watch these movies that I have never seen. I can't wait to show them to my elderly mom. There is even film of her bridal shower. He is honest, organized and one of the most positive people you will meet. He also did this in a timely manner and returned everything. Victor- Thank you so much for the excellent job you did. Yes- these are treasures and I will show it to my mom. I already mailed flash drives to all siblings across the country.

Fast and Efficient the quality of the digital conversion was amazon. Had a VHS from 90's transferred to a flashdrive.
