John is such a wonderful person-he is so kind and trustful… I took my car in because I thought my battery was dying, and he looked at it for no charge. Can’t recommend this business enough. I’ve been going to them for the past five years, and have sent many people there. This is THE GUY.

I’ve bought two cars from John’s and I’ve worked with Carl both times. They made everything so easy and they genuinely care about you getting the car that’s perfect for you. I’m a college student and needed something safe for work and school. When I came in Carl already knew what car I would love, gave me a great price, and the finance team had me approved before I even left the lot. I knew they were great after my first time buying from them but after almost buying my second car from another dealer I realized just how great they are at John’s, how kind, helpful, and honest.

After a detailed description of what needed to be done to a car of mine, John quoted a price over the phone. Once the vehicle was towed to his lot, at my expense, he refused to honor the quote and wanted to charge me more than double, plus parts. After several conversations and compromises by me, an agreement still could not be reached. The vehicle was towed back to my home. I am still out the $100 for the tow!

Took my car to the dealer after having issues and they told me whoever did my brakes neglected to do the whole job. As a result I lost the whole brake assembly. When I confronted the owner he started explaining how brakes work. Completely irrelevant how brakes work. He acknowledged he neglected to perform the whole service. 800 dollars later I'm paying for his neglect on top of the brake replacement.

Had a broken strut on a 10 year old Subaru. Cold called John having just moved into the neighborhood and he answered the phone himself (great first impression). Asked all the right questions diagnosing the issue, and set up an appointment the next morning to take a look. Dropped it off at 10, he had parts ordered and arrived by 1 (called to update me), gave me the car back by 5. Fixed, good price, clear description of everything being done. Will be "my guy" for all things automotive I don't do myself moving forward. Nice to have a trusted local mechanic.

Don't go there. The owner John is a crook and a liar. Took my car to get diagnostic, ending up coming out with my car worse. Never fixed the problem and got charged $275 for nothing on top he wanting $100 when i picked up my car. Told me the problem was fixed and when i got into my car it was still the same. He kept my car for 4 days to see what the problem was but he never did nothing, all he did was put more miles on my car and f*** up the alignment.

I left an review earlier this year as this shop did some work on my car. I went back a second time expecting the same results and did not get them. About $4,000 later my car is fixed (but with another shop) went to replace my rear brakes and my parking brake stopped work this job cost me 2,600 at John's automotive I learned later that the person working on my car was not certified or experienced with Jaguars and he broke a piece in the calipers. I took it to the dealer and they needed to replace both calipers at $1,300 each I could only do One of them as I had just given John $2,600. When I approached John he said let me know what we did wrong he also said his mechanic said there was a recall on my car for the parking break and the calipers. The dealer said that this was not true, and through my research I could not find the recall either. The truth is the the mechanic forced the caliper back which broke the piece that calibrates and connects my parking brake. Also they lost my key for my wheels as I have custom wheels. I have since replaced that also. Nothing but headaches!!

Had yet another great experience with John. Our Mazda needed a few things done- and after the dealership wanted to charge us considerably more for a tune up-John was amazing! He is so honest and dependable and I highly recommend.

We bring our Cadi Escalade and other cars for regular service (it’s out of warranty) and tires. John’s does a great job and pricing is very competitive.
