These stores that have closing times of 9-11pm have pushed me to my limit. Nelson's puts all of its service deli salads away, jot foods, salad bar...EVERYTHING 2 hours before closing.What kind of nonsense is this. I'm boycotting this Gelsons...every single one of them.

I went to buy the England's Best eggs on sale.I also got the egg salad on sale.I bought some crackers.Very nice store.Excellent service.Clean store.

Yesterday was ok TODAY I had some butcher telling me how I have my prime steaks cut!!! Arguing with meI do not know this man!! I have been shopping this store 48 years!!I left called calla as store ordered them no problem!!Horrible morning I like my steak 1 1/2 inches!!

This review is for the Deli. I stopped in for a turkey sandwich today. The electronic board said they were offering one with avocado and Hatch chilies. I asked for that one and the guy behind the counter said, "We don't have that." I said, "Ok, I'd like a turkey sandwich with avocado, no mayo and the usual tomato and lettuce. He said, "There's an extra charge for the avocado." I said, "That's fine." While he was making my sandwich, he started sneezing. He was about to go back to making my sandwich and I said, "Wash your hands!" so he did. I don't think he would have done so if I hadn't spoken up. When I opened my box to eat my sandwich, I saw it had no avocado but it did have mayo. I went back in and said, "You forgot the avocado." A female assistant came over and became carefully slicing avocado. The manager came and asked the guy if he'd forgotten to charge for the avocado. I didn't hear his response but the female manager said to me, "We won't charge you for the avocado this time." I'm thinking you're lucky I'm not asking you to make a new one. When I got back outside, I saw one slice of avocado on each half of the sandwich. The slices were each as thin as a leaf of lettuce. I didn't know you could slice avocado that thin. Bottom line is I will never eat at Gelson's deli again. I just want to say that I have been eating at various Gelson's since 1972. Quality and service has always been excellent. I guess when the Gelson's family sold out the quality and integrity they stood for went with them. Too bad. They used to be great.

This Gerson's always has what I want, but the Saturday after Thanksgiving, they closed at 7pm! It was no longer a holiday and all of the food bars were closed 30 mins before closing too. Shame.... Was really looking forward to their soup.

As is noted in some of the reviews posted during the last 12 months I have to agree. Service and quality of products is consistently going down hill while their prices have consistently gone way up. I bought my thanksgiving sides here yesterday as I usually do and I won't anymore. They cut corners with certain foods and left out extras that used to come with sweet potato casserole as an example. Bristol farms is priced about equally in comparison to Gelsons, but much better. Gelsons is on par with the Von's across the street. No real difference other the prices Gelsons charges. Don't waste your $$.

Amazing bakery inside Victor Bene's franchise. Received help on the phone and later in person from Yvette and Lupe. It was for Thanksgiving Day! Picked up cakes and bought another for a second event. Such nice group of people to serve with a smile! Thank you ladies and team.

False advertisement on cat litter. They charged me $57 for a couple package and its listed as $5.99 ! How insane and I've been buying this one for a while so I just now noticed my receipt was so high.. they give me attitude on the phone when I called about a refund thats not showing up on my end they're saying I need to wait it out . Not very customer oriented. Wont be returning

That you seem to have done away completely with paper bags in the produce department. I would like to know your reasoning on that. The plastic bags you have there are extremely hard to open.Also, I don't know what the problem is with Lactaid Chocolate Ice Cream. Three visits to your store and you still don't have any. No one seemed to know why that is. I'm going to call Lactaid and find out.
