This was a very different experience from the other bridal shops I went to. As a plus size woman my search began like many others at David’s bridal, where they only had 2 dresses in my size to try on. At Della Curva they sky is the limit choose any dress off the racks and it’ll most likely fit. The first time I went I honestly did not go with the intention of purchasing anything, I just wanted to “go and see” dresses were a little out of my $1,000 price range. But I left feeling great, I did venture out to other bridal shops but nothing compared I couldn’t find “the one”. The second time I went I had saved up more money so I was ready to spend more, my dress ended up being around $1,800 (which I think is on the lower end of their price range). Staff was patient and friendly, thanks to Sammy for helping me out ?For reference, I’m a regular size 18-20 but I think my dress was size 28.

I would absolutely recommend Della Curva. The lighting and the space are beautiful, and everyone was so helpful and genuine. I brought one friend and we had the entire store to ourselves. After checking out a few other places, I ended up buying my wedding dress from here and having it shipped across the country because I enjoyed my experience so much. The online payment portal and was very easy to work with and so was the process of having the dress shipped to Maryland.

I absolutely loved Crystal my who helped me buy my wedding dress. She was so amazing and catered to me and my family!! the best experience ever!!! exactly what I hoped and dreamed of ! this place is beyond a dream for so many women who are plus size. Crystal and I connected instantly. She was so amazing and took her time not making me feel rushed and helping me find the perfect dress. I can't wait to wear it in November. I 100% recommend Della curva and will be recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you Crystal For help in Making My Dreams Come True !!!!

This update is purely to showcase the beautiful dress and veil I found with the wonderful, supportive help of Sammi and the Della Curva team. I never thought I'd look like the kind of bride I imagined because I rarely if ever see plus-size brides in gowns like this. But I felt so gorgeous on my big day. And I am so happy I found the dress that made it all come together. Thank you, Della Curva!!!

For any plus size bride, this is the only salon you need to visit. I came here last October and had the best experience. Staff made me feel welcome, the dresses were gorgeous, the prices were amazing, and the staff listened and were so supportive. I just picked up my dress today and cannot speak highly enough of Della Curva!

Amazing place for plus size brides, the stylist was really professional and sweet and she legit made the process so easy! I didn't find the dress here but I appreciate the amazing service and amazing selection of dresses

Although I did not purchase from here, I want to make sure the woman who helped me locate my veil knows how special she is to me. After months, a couple of states (3 to be exact), and several stores, I found the veil. However, the store I found the veil failed my expectations. I found Della Curva on the designer's website and was directed to the designer's flagship store. I'm not sure of the name of the stylist at Della Curva, but she lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I was able to order my veil the same day. Without her, I would still be searching and very frustrated.

Amazing experience!!! The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. It is nice having people who understand the struggles of being a plus size women helping you. They know exactly how to make you feel beautiful.I was able to try on more dresses than I expected. Never came across a dress that was too small or wouldn’t fit me. They did well staying within my wishes. I knew it would not be easy because I don’t like lace. They had more than enough options for me.The shop was beautiful, clean and fully stocked. It was easy to look through dresses and pick ones you like. The dressing rooms were spacious and comfortable, although by the end of the appointment I think I had glitter all over the floor ?.I drove two hours just to go to a place that caters to plus size brides. I would do it again!!!

They have beautiful dresses! They range in size and prices, but feel they are competitive. They specialize in sizing for those that wear size 14 and up.With our reservation we had the place to ourselves. The wonderful lady that helped us was so kind and patient. My sister ended up saying 'yes to the dress' :) It was so special and memorable.

Absolutely the worst experience. When I was there the sales associate had me get undressed to only my underwear and was up close in my areas for measurements only for the dress not to fit. The dress was so huge on my bust when the sales associate was making sure my dress would match the measurements. My chest I'm about a B cup and the dress was made with DDD. Unfortunately my dress looked hideous on my chest.

This was such a great experience. They have all the options for plus size brides. My stylist Sami was awesome, accommodating, patient, and helpful. I was a bit nervous so she made me feel comfortable. There are a lot of styles in the price range of $1400-$3500. I was able to try on dresses for close to two hours. I was provided water, a seating area for me and my guests, and a private dressing room. Sami helped me in and out of my dress. I actually loved my dress and was able to say yes to the dress! What an exciting and memorable time.

It was worth the 2 hour drive and the best decision to select Della Curva to purchase my wedding dress at! So many beautiful dresses to try on and not knowing where to start but with the expertise and patience from Ruby made my experience wonderfully extraordinary! Now I'm looking for a wedding dress for my bonus daughter....I hope her experience is as wonderful as mine, I'm almost there convincing her to go to Della Curva!! I was married in 2018 and now I can show my beautiful wedding dress! I didn't want a tube top style of a dress but I LOVED the dress and Ruby suggested I purchase the sheer blouse/shirt....she had the vision I dreamt of you couldn't tell it was a 2 piece! Thank you Ruby! And Della Curva!

The store is beautiful and easy to navigate. Merrick helped me at my fitting and I really liked that we had the store to ourselves as it helped me to feel way more comfortable. She was attentive, helpful and calming energy so no extra stress. I found the perfect dress for me here!

11/10 EXPERIENCE!! If you are a plus size bride, make an appointment NOW!!I had the pleasure of working with Merrick and she is an absolute delight! She listened to my wants and needs and took them in to account. I am very self conscious of my shoulders and she really helped me by showing me possible solutions but also assuring me that I was beautiful just the way I was.More onto the experience at the shop itself - I cannot express how incredible it was to walk in to a store where near EVERYTHING would fit me. There was no dress off limits!! I had another appointment at another shop nearby which was one of the worst experiences I've ever had but thankfully it was AFTER the appointment at DC. I RUSHED back to DC to get my dress after that horrendous experience and never looked back. There were also so many choices in everything you could want. Ballgown? They got 'em! A Line? Yep! Mermaid? You bet!Thank you Della Curva for being the godsend for us curvy gals!! <3
