The two people working here are the RUDEST people I have ever encountered. Both times I have visited both of them have turned a cold shoulder and completely ignored me in the middle of a conversation. I have never experienced anything like it. Take your business elsewhere.

Horrendous experience multiple times. Do NOT take your business here. The people who work here are incredibly rude and literally ignored me and pretended I wasn't there in the middle of a conversation.

All I had was one silk sling pump that needed the material glued down for a play I'm performing in. Both people working in there, a woman seamstress and a cobbler man, were rude, insulting, and dismissed me after taking one quick glance at my shoe. In under 2 seconds they determined that my shoe wasn't worth their time or the courtesy of a respectful explanation. They might have made a suggestion for me to try or made any attempt which would have been greatly appreciated. But no. They were nasty and very negative as if I'd insulted them by dropping tiny pieces of broken shoe all over their repair counter and said, "Here! Fix that!"... which I hadn't. The material was beginning to pull away from the sole just a bit. They yelled at me for having the unmitigated gall to walk through their door. "BUY NEW!" they both hollered at me. "No good. Buy new!" It's been years since I've had such awful customer service. Joe's Shoe Repair on Reseda said they'd see what they could do. That's all I could possibly hope for. And if they can't fix it, AT LEAST THEY WERE KIND. If your shoe is broken, don't bring it to Boulevard Shoe Repair. Unless you don't mind being berated for bringing a shoe that needs repair to a shoe repair shop. Shoe wearers, beware.

All I had was one silk shoe that needed the material glued down. Both people working in there today were rude, insulting, dismissed me out of hand when they could have just helped out a little bit. It’s not worth your time or effort to patronize them. They didn’t even try to help me. All they could say was “buy new.” Awful customer service.

Their service was awsome I had a shoe repair person in Woodland Hills and they had shut down their store and decided to try the boulevard based on the reviews . Simon was great! the shoe looks brand new inside out and their service was on time and reasonable. Found a gem right in Tarzana! I will definitely try their alterations next.Service: General repairs

I've been going to this place for a couple of years just to have them do some general work on my shoes. The last time I went there a couple of months ago, the guy who does the shoe repair was wiping down my shoes like there was germs all around it. And I didn't really mind that but, it was the manner in which he did it. And the way he treated me so, that will be the last time I ever give them my business. I was very disappointed in the way he did all of that and made me feel.Service: General repairs

We have been going there for over 30 years. The tailoring is great, the shoe revival is phenomenal. The pricing is very reasonable for the work. I live on the other side of LA and still save my tailoring/shoe repair for when I’m in Tarzana.

My family has been using this location for over thirty years. They do excellent work reviving shoes that have seen better days! Better than the shoe repair places I have tried on the Westside or in Los Feliz, and very reasonably priced.

The friendliest alterations and shoe repair and restoration in the Valley. Alterations are superb and professionally done by an expert seamstress. Shoes come back looking like new!

Wonderful master seamstress tailor and creative shoe repair magician team. I have come here for over 25 years. I still drive from Laguna Beach to use their services. Beyond shoes and tailoring, if you need a strap for a portfolio, a belt fixed, or seat cushions for your chairs, no project is impossible for them. They are kind, fair, honest and professional.

I've been going to this place for 25 years. The wife is a master seamstress and she can make or tailor anything from pillows to clothing. Her work is excellent. The husband repairs shoes, purses, bags, belts, etc. He does a fine job and will tell you if your item is beyond the worth of repairing. I've always found them to be hard working, fast, fair priced, honest and very friendly, kind people.

These folks are magicians. My family has been coming here since I was 7 for all of my shoe repairs and alterations, and they are quite simply the best. Simon is a shoe artist - my favorite pair of Frye boots have been his patients many times (I'm hard on shoes) and he always gets them looking as good as new - even after rainstorms and holes in the sole. Young does beautiful work with clothing - she has tailored everything from my school uniforms to my prom dresses and now all of my special occasion dresses and boyfriend's suits. Seriously the best around! I am in my late twenties now and live on the westside - they are worth the drive. Once you come here, you'll be a devoted customer for 20 years, just like me and my family.

I stumbled into this place on accident looking for another tailor across the street. I had some sport coats that needed to be let out by half an inch due to my healthy diet of steak, sushi, and breakfast burritos. The lady was nice enough but saw the cash only sign. Shady. Anyway, I asked her if she could let out my jacket by half an inch and she was really dismissive. I asked her how much it would cost and she said it was $48 bucks a jacket. Dang, for half an inch? Anyway, she said that she couldn't do it so I bounced. I went across the street to the original place I was going to. The lady there told me that I had enough room to let out my jacket by MORE than an inch--though I took the hint and had a salad for dinner that night, I insisted on the half inch. she was way nicer, and her prices were so much more fair. If this place doesn't meet your needs, look across the street... you can find her on yelp.
