We had a great experience with this outfit. Rented from several places around the lake. This place had the best Ebikes by far. Customer service was great.

Bike rentals are 2hr minimum (not stated at time of rental) and the bikes are junk. Poor shifting, etc. 2x more expensive than other shops nearby.

Customer service was poor and bikes are in really bad shape. Rent a bike somewhere else. You have been warned!

We had such a great experience here renting E bikes for the first time. Jeremy was so helpful and patient with us. He made us feel so at ease as first time E-bike riders. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back to rent again.

Lower price than renting on the slopes. Knowledgeable staff gave us valuable tips on the ski equipment.

I rented a bike from Willard's Sports Shop for riding the Truckee River Trail during my vacation in the Lake Tahoe area. The young lads were very helpful in setting up the bike for me. And, returning the bike was smooth too. Highly recommend Willard's Sports Shop. Their location is perfect being right next to the great bike trail.

If you want a bike, go here. Don't think about it. Just do it.The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They accept multiple payment methods. Not to mention, it is SUPER close to the trail. This was my first time ever renting a bike and they were so dope it's not even funny. RUN, DON'T WALK to this place if you need a bike. Seriously. I will be using this business exclusively for my bike rentals.

What a great, fun experience! Having new skis mounted, old bindings adjusted, custom footbeds made and Fischer skiboots vacuum molded to my feet, all done by an expert owner and fantastic staff could not have been more gratifying. Dax Willard clearly is one of the most knowledgeable, competent bootfitters I have ever visited (and I've seen way too many!). Moreover, he is a pleasure to work with. His personality is reflected in his technicians, Trevor and Jeremy, as well as his softgoods staff, Mila and Cheyenne. When you see genuine, happy, and helpful employees, it says something very positive about a business. And for myself, a demanding New York City person, my discovery of Willard's Sports, has been nothing but positive. Very, very, highly recommended.

Super awesome shop. The guys working there are very customer friendly. They were the only ones who had kid bikes for rent and the prices were really good. Then we planned out the wrong trial to bike on but they gave us some great suggestions of trails that start right outside the sports shop. I would highly recommend.

Horrendous customer service!! My family and I all walked in and immediately started looking at shoes, which is in their foyer. Had it not been for an absolute need we would have left with what followed. We asked if they 2 different style shoes in specific sizes; what we got in response is “they’re over there.”; which ended up being a wall of about 20’ and more than a dozen shoe styles mixed in. It absolutely felt and he appeared to be annoyed at having to be there yet alone help a customer. We would have purchased anything he recommended; anything for a quick transaction….There was another couple that walked behind us to return 2 rental bikes who were also clearly upset with his behavior and remarks to them. I hope they write a review as all as this should not be tolerated and seems to be a pattern and speaks to other negative reviews they have received here. Unfortunately given 2 prior experiences for another family that walked in and were browsing, had come up with a few questions to ask him in regards to a high dollar value purchase; we did not get to observe their interaction with him but I cringe as to how that may have gone after we left. The receipt I received shows the associates name as “Jake”. I fully expect the owner to reply with something along the lines of “we apologize, we’re short staffed or we strive for the best customer experience and respect.” But how is this true when there is a clear pattern…..

We went to Willard’s during normal business hours and they were all closed up with a note telling a customer to lock up their rental when they returned. Parking/traffic is terrible in this area so this was very inconvenient. Customer service the day prior was not great. I regret going back. I like to give the benefit of the doubt. Don’t expect great service or rely on them being open during advertised business hours.
