I came to this north face in the summer looking for water shoes and a water shirt long sleeve. We found what we needed and the service was good despite what other reviews might be saying. Maybe in the winter the customer service is worse because of the seasonals but in the summer it was really good.
‼️‼️PS‼️‼️
This store is not affiliated with The North Face. Employee discount will not work here if you work at another The North Face store. The manager did honor us with a respectable discount for the inconvenience.

Big Noth Face Store but it is not North Face. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND the North Face products they sell. Paid $175 for Trail Running shoes that got a hole on the interior heel of both shoes. I got very bad blisters and store said not their problem. Gave me a form to complete and said send shoes back to North Face with receipt. I love North Face but this not a North Face store is terrible. Frankly they are a bad mark on the otherwise awesome Palisades Village.

I want to mirror the sentiments of the other people in the reviews - the service here is terrible. selection is fair and they have some exclusive to resort items. i am not the kind of shopper that needs to be greeted (was definitely not greeted) or bothered during shopping but i felt compelled to review since my experience was just that bad. it literally felt like no one was working there lol i was staying at the palisades this past weekend and am visiting from Tokyo so really wanted to get some new cold weather attire. I was perusing the sale rack and found a cute jacket that i loved. i tried it on and loved how it fit but there was no price tag and i wanted to try on a bigger size potentially. i walked up to the cash register where there were two employees - a guy sitting at the back and a girl leaning on the cash wrap on her phone. i asked her - 'excuse me how much is this' and she simply responded without even looking up from her phone 'half-off'. i said 'alright, do u have other sizes?' - 'no.'i was over it and just put it back and walked out. i honestly still think about that jacket lol but the experience made me completely turned off from purchasing! the product (although quality is fantastic) isn't exactly the most affordable.

They are owned by Squaw, and won't do exchanges so beware.

Have you ever walked into a store where the employees seem annoyed by the mere presence of customers and don't even try to hide it? That's the North Face store in the Village at Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley) in a nutshell. The customer service, or lack thereof, made me want to get out of there as quickly as possible. One employee seemed bored and the other was curt, abrupt, unfriendly, and scowled. I've far met more personable people at the DMV. Really, Eric, would it hurt you so much to smile? You look and sound like you totally hate your job, so please consider finding a different one that's that's far removed from any need for customer service. Retail-- you're doing it wrong.

I wanted to buy a pair of gloves as a gift for my friend and store employees lied to me that California law doesn't allow return & refund of gloves.I understand if that was their own store policy, but they explicitly mentioned that's a California law and made a big deal of that.

The girls are fantastic and friendly. Was only there to build their mountain signs. But had a great time.
