“This place was amazing. Not sure what all the negative reviews were about but this place is one of the best places I’ve stayed in a while. Very clean. Make sure to text them if you’re gonna arrive late and they’ll set you up with a lock box with your key. The view of Lake Tahoe was awesome. I’ll be staying here again in the future.”

“Needed to find new lodging quickly after a bad airbnb experience in Tahoe. Tamarack had one vacancy left and we were happy to take it. This is a small mom and pop place and it's very dog friendly. We had our own cabin and we were very comfortable with plenty of room. They have a variety of different motel style rooms or cabins. Our room was clean although a little bit run down with an older carpet that has seen its share of dogs. However we would definitely stay there again and we loved the rustic lake vibes. This was just on the north side of Tahoe City about 1-2 miles from the busy downtown TC area.”
