The old guy at the register was really grumpy and not willing to explain the details of how to pick up 8 sacks of concrete. A Friendly customer explained the yard process to me. I will never return to this store if that is how customers are treated. TruckeeTahoe Lumber Company has my business. They are friendly and have super customer service, even when they are having a bad day!

Treated so terrible by young man working there that I walked out. He assumed as a women I knew nothing and talked to me like I was an idiot. I was not going to write a review but just talked to a neighbor who said she had the same exact experience with the associate

This place has everything. The guys working here are very knowledgeable and helpful, even to tourists like me! There is one grumpy guy who makes you feel stupid for asking “how to” questions. But everyone else is super nice. And they have literally everything you need.

Kinda annoyed. First, I got a quote for a bulk lumber order which was fine, but when I ordered, they upped the quantities and changed the board lengths. OK - shrug that off. Then delivery came and the lumber was crap. Many warped board and split ends. Called them to get some replacement boards but they ghosted me. Unfortunately, I thought I was ordering from Tahoe Truckee Lumber Company, so it's partially my fault. All in all, deck is done, but it took far longer than I planned, not as nice as I hoped, and I have way too much scrap. I won't make this mistake again. Caveat Emptor.

Great selection. Terrible customer service. People behind the counter were rude and I could barely even hear what the cashier was saying to me. The guys in the lumber yard were helpful and nice but the lumber was all soaked.
