WOW is that the kind of language you use in front of your customers.The worst language I have ever heard used by employees of a store.There are children in the store. If this is the language allowed by employees in front of customers then I will not be doing business with this company.

I worked with the dollar general at the Harrison street location in Taft, California and wow, was it bad. As a consumer living in taft, you are paying taxes twice. How? This company creates an ecosytem where they pay their employees minimum wage with less than 30 hours. This forces the employees to use welfare and food assistance to make ends meet. I should know as every employee would be using their DBT card to make purchases when they were done with their shift. Thus, taxpayers pay for these welfare benefits to make up for the fact that dollar general doesn't pay a living wage thus forcing employees to make up for lost income with government assistance to feed their families. Second, companies like dollar general don't pay federal taxes and thus, forcing the federal government to take more taxes from people like you in taft. My personal experiences working with the following people: Fatima, carlos, delia, brooke were challenging. They micromanage everything such as: can't call to get your upcoming week's schedule as they want you to come to the store; you have to come within 10 minutes of your break or otherwise you get reprimanded. Companies like this should remind you why you need to go to college, or vocational school or technical school. If you have a family, you cannot afford to make a living working in a place like this with people like this. Be well.
