Los Angeles Mission College student store. Beautiful building, sadly their costumer service is horrifying, some cashiers are very rude, and their manager is even worse, they laugh at you when asking questions and directions. Aside, over price. I won't recommend this place to get your materials.

As we all know due to this pandemic we were not allowed to go inside. But we did have the opportunity to place an order online and pick it up ones we received a second confirmation email that it was ready. Upon arrival you call the student store and they bring you your order to your car. The wait time is very short approximately 5 minutes.

The only reason I set foot inthere was because I was a student, otherwise I avoided like the plague, I believe that the woman who runs it or use to run it, was related to Hitler, no kidding, order on line, there are some really great book rental sites that treat you way better, oh and stay away from the cafeteria, food is good but way overpriced

Rebecca is AMAZING!My high schooler is taking advantage of a program through LA Mission where she can take college classes that will count for both High School and towards an AA. But one of the books for her classes was not in stock. We spoke to Rebecca and only then realized that the purchase order for all of my daughter's books, though submitted, had not yet been received by the bookstore.Technically we should have been told, "So sorry, can't help you. Go home, wait for the P.O. to come through and then come back." But Rebecca was too good for that. She looked over the P.O. and confirmed that my daughter was a student. She then made a copy and said she'd take care of the paperwork for the three books that were in stock once the P.O. arrived and let she us take those home. She also took my name and number and called me 10 days later when the last book finally arrived.When I showed up to retrieve the book Rebecca was on the phone but recognized me, put the caller on mute for a second and directed me upstairs to the book. As I walked past her on my way down she handed me a note that helped speed up and simplify my checkout.Rebecca is absolutely amazing. She makes the bookstore and LA Mission a little bit sweeter.The world needs a lot more Rebeccas!
