Not great, not bad, but definitely not an outdoor store for outdoor folk. If you want to hit the trail or the lifts, and need to resupply on the basics, you may find what your are looking for most of the time. But if you want to "look" really good and seem as if you are an outdoors person in your Northface puffy jacket and Patagonia stretch pants, then they will have everything you dream about and more.That being said, the folks here are always friendly, they know their audience and what sells in our tourist town that gets overrun by flatlanders every season.You'll find some of the basics, but may not find everything you need to spend some time in the backcountry.

We came in and the guy at the counter was aloof and leaning over the counter and texting. We had to leave because the guy at the counter was in the back having a personal conversation about not knowing what he did last night. Had everything picked out, ready to pay but we just had to leave because we were being ignored.

Rude customer service I went in to get a vest and the lady in there was really dismissive with her response and said whatever we have is out there and walked off. Then she said we are sold out and said there are some in the men's section even though I am a petite size. Just a terrible interaction if this is how they treat the customers I don't see how anyone could give them five stars unless they didn't talk to them. Awful just awful. Will never go back.

I needed a gift for Father's Day and didn't want to drive all the way to REI. Found something great immediately but my husband wanted a long sleeve shirt instead. He was able to return the shirt and picked out a beautiful Patagonia shirt. Mike the owner was helpful both times and even gave us a discount. I definitely will continue to shop here.

Great inventory in this relatively, less-then-large space. I’ve purchased last minute birthday and Christmas gifts, and I’ve always found there to be such a great selection of clothing. The employees are helpful, friendly, and professional. GREAT business!

All the best outdoor equipment brands and a surprising selection for what looked like a small shop from the outside! We enjoyed being able to support a locally owned business and get the quality camping gear we needed, plus the bonus of interacting with a really nice shop keeper! We'll be back (again!)

Loved that I was able to shop locally and with the sale items, relatively affordably. Nice selection of wool base layers (even in summer)--yay!

A great shop with fashionable outdoor wear and a decent selection of backcountry gear! I'd rather shop local before starting at REI and these guys often have great comparable or better sales. They don't have 100% of what I'm seeking every time, but always worth checking first. The 2 gentlemen I've received help from have been very kind, patient, and informative. My only wish is that they could start offering rental gear for snow and water sports. We tend to go all the way to Arnold to rent gear, it'd be nice to be able to support an expansion of services here ðŸ˜.

This place is legit - a whole litany of outdoor supplies - nice clothing and excellent selection of fly fishing wares - I buy a lot of flies from them ! Run by a couple great folks , if you need anything outdoors , give these local guys a try first , you won't be disappointed
