I worked here for a summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life! The community is extremely strong and you are likely to make some lifelong friends. The directors are wonderful and are very present and contribute a lot to the experience. They also are always there if you need help or have questions and love helping counselors learn and grow. The campers are also great and it was very fulfilling to work with kids in this environment. If you are ever considering working at MMR, do it! You’ll have the best summer and create amazing memories!

This camp is run by one of the most amazing families I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are truly so kind, loving, and inclusive. Any person would be blessed to attend or work on this little slice of Heaven. Just interacting with these amazing humans would be a gift!

To Jack E. Jr.: May have been a bit hasty in my previous review. The many experiences at this camp compared to one 2-hour issue I had makes me feel very immature for acting with haste in my previous review of MMR. I made an original review of this camp in 2015 based on one hard-ass case I had in 1977 (one day in two annual visits and a combined total of 3 weeks stay) which in the grand scheme of things should not weight upon this Camp rank-wise which has done a great job over many years. Most of the time I had a wonderful time there and thank my parents for having me go there. Had a lot of great experiences, made a lot of friends, and learned how to become a good fisherman, as a counselor took me aside outside of the common fishing time and took me personally to a special fishing hole to learn how to catch and gut a fish. Learned how to fall off a horse too . Apologies and hope this rating helps move the Camp up on the scale of potential views of the camp online. Erik K.

Our daughter went to Mountain Meadow Ranch for years and loved it! The staff were incredibly kind and professional and the facility is outstanding. The campers have lots of choices for activities and get to be kids away from social media and other distractions. We whole heartedly recommend Mountain Meadow Ranch.

My daughter just spent 2 weeks at camp, and had an amazing time. She loved the friends she made, all the councilors were so sweet and amazing role models, she loved all the activities. And especially riding horses, the day at the lake, and the over night camp out under the stars. It was nice to have her make new friends, in such a beautiful environment, and get to enjoy new experiences. I would definitely send her again. They really take great care of the property. There's so many things for the kids to do. Riding horses, ceramics, zip lining, camping out, trips to the lake, swimming, water activities, etc.

Amazing, wonderful place for children to be free and independent. This has been life changing for my daughter. She is comfortable outside her bubble and makes friends she looks forward to each year. The counselors, staff, cooks, and admin have all proven to be nurturing and loving and makes the camp lots of fun. This will definitely be a tradition every summer for us for years to come.

This camp is such a special place for my daughter, who just finished a four week stay. She has attended several other sleep away camps and rates MMR far and away the best. She loves the warm sense of community and how kind and supportive everyone is. She says that allthe counselors just care about the campers so much. It was hard for her to leave last summer after a two week session and just as hard for her to leave this year after a 4 week session. It's truly her favorite place.

Our boys really enjoyed MMR. They can accommodate all kinds of dietary needs. While we eat gluten free at home it's not mandatory so we left the choice up to our boys. Camp is about giving them opportunities to make decisions for themselves.*Communication before, during and after our camp session was great. I rarely had a question about what to expect.*Our boys really liked the counselors*They had new adventures and experiences each day*As parents we got an occasional photo update and this was pure joy. Not just to see my kids, but to see all the campers having the best summer they could possibly have.We even had a behavioral incident with one of our boys and MMR handled the situation beautifully. It started with ownership of actions. I was well informed and we had a follow up conversation at pick-up. MMR was engaged and happy to answer my questions. In summary, it's a beautiful location for kids to really unplug and enjoy summer.

I was there let summer as a 10 year old first camper. I was horribly mistreated. They showed special preventive to the other campers that were that precious years. I told my counselor that I was being bullied and it was ignored. I was so happy when my mom came to pick me up. It was more of a prison than a summer camp.Preston
