The gentleman that helped me when I walked in was wonderful, efficient and kind. He found what I needed and got them in an envelope with the code for me. I bought 4 bolts. I had 1 person in line in front of me and it took 10 minutes to check out because the cashier was slow as molasses. I'll go somewhere else next time if I need something quick. It reflects badly if your cashier's are all so old they can't work a register. This has happened many times in last few visits to this store, otherwise I wouldn't say anything.

The caliber of the Ace Hardware and staff in Susanville is important and very much appreciated! Noel has matched paint and cut a chip key for a 25-year-old Jeep that no one could or did. I asked for a manager to tell of my appreciation found that Lauren leads by example, knowledgeable, pleasant. I have used every department, found what I needed and always with a smile... can't ask for any more than that!

Between the new checkout line style, the new store layout, and the fact that half the time I end up at tractor supply because they no longer carry whatever it is I'm looking for at this Ace I'm not sure why I still shop here other than the staff. The staff here are very helpful and the only reason I go here.

Top Notch! Damon Woodward worked with us for HOURS to pinpoint the exact color match we were looking for ( from a cellphone photo which he printed for us) for our house. We couldn’t have asked for better service or a more knowledgeable, patient, and experienced individual to help us in this endeavor. We doubted afterwards that we would have got the focused attention and time in a larger city. We just wanted to thank Damon (and ACE, for employing such an excellent person).

Every single time I’ve been in the store it’s overstaffed and 80% of those people are doing absolutely nothing. Appears to have lots of turnover. Management seems incompetent. Way overpriced. Go to Walmart or Tractor Supply. This place is a joke fighting to stay afloat.
