The Anderson art gallery is definitely a hidden gem in orange county and the owner is very knowledgeable about the art he sells. His art is linoleum block prints, monio prints, oil, watercolor, acrylic paints, pastel, bronze casting sculptures and a whole lot more. He even has art books cards and prints. Some of the artist featured are Milford Zornes, Raul Anguiano, Henry Fukuhara, Howard Hitchcock and Bill Anderson. The gallery is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 1PM to 9PM and 1PM to 6PM on Sundays.

Bill's artwork of Huntington Beach has given me a piece of "home". Viewing as Bill sees each watercolor brings me back to the sights, the sun, the sounds and the textures. I am lost in the moment.

Stopped in and got a signed copy of " Huntington Beach, Through the Eyes of Artist Bill Anderson" ( see cover photo). Bill is a local legend and his shop displays a lot of his work and other local artists. Be sure and check the hours before you go as usually closed mid week. Parking can also be rough as it faces PCH near Captain Jacks (another great local place). I drove by this place for years before finally stopping in, glad I did.

This gallery and the owner are a hidden gem of Orange County. Mr. Anderson has taught art for his whole adult life, and is a wealth of knowledge, easy to chat with, and not the least bit intimidating to a rookie. (I should know!) He has beautiful art of his own (many media, including sculpture), and a lot of California water colors and beach scenes. He also represents Milford Zornes, whose art is breathtaking too. Art is a wonderful investment, and this little place is a great outing when you’re hitting the Sunset/Seal/Huntington Beach area.

This Gallery and the owner are a hidden gem in Orange County. Bill Anderson is not only very talented but very knowledgeable and has taught art for decades. He can't be there 24/7, but he is the most down to earth, honest man you'll meet in the art biz, and has some beautiful work of Orange County and California. He also represents other artists. Stop by; you won't be disappointed.

The art gallery is very unique and has quality art from well known artists such as Milford Zornes, Bill Anderson, Henry Fukahara, Raul Angiano and Howard Hitchcock to name a few. Plus the art is oil, watercolor, pastels and block printing. There are also art books and note cards with different pictures. There are other artists work as well, the hours are Fri. & SAT 1 to 9 PM, SUN 1 to 6PM and weekdays by appointment only. Overall it's a great gallery.

Bill anderson is an amazing artist working out of his small studio on coast highway. His art is truly unique and reflects the local beach culture and views. We bought several pieces and plan to get more

Very unique art gallery with artist work of Raul Anguianio, Milford Zornes, Henry Fukihara, Howard Hitchcock and Bill Anderson and others. The gallery owner is very informed of the different art pieces. If you are interested in any type of art, you can make payments until it is paid. Very knowledgeable in the art world.

I love Bill Anderson's art, and Bill's heart for people, for this area, and for highlighting other artists in his gallery.

Must be nice. Yep, with hours like these, it must be nice (unless you need the labor hours). I love great art and will often travel vast distances simply to see the best of it (i.e., the Louvre in Paris, the Tate in London). But I get slippery wet over good surf art. A painted wave (with or without dolphins), a carved surfboard on a scaled down Pipeline tube or photographs of water forming great cascading breakers, any of these things done with skill can make me feel it, the raw excitement, the pure joy, the indescribable sensation of the ride...makes me feel wet all over. I've been passing this surf art shop for years but never took the time to drop in. There was always something else going on. The surf was up, I had to be somewhere, I was too tired, the boyfriend was whispering in my ear...whatever it was, I never took the time to stop. Until today. I was done with surfing the pier, I was still amped and had nowhere else to be right at the moment. I pulled over, slipped on my sandals and shades, grabbed my purse and locked the car. I walked to the front door and, this being a normal Wednesday business week, was surprised to read the business hours of Friday & Sat 1 p.m.-9 p.m., Sunday 1-6 p.m., or by appointment. Hurumpf! Well lah-di-dah...it must be nice. Yep, it must be real nice. So I guess I'll just have to get wet somewhere else for now (and I don't need to make an appointment for that.) P.S., I'm going to catch 'em open sometime, you know I will. And when I do, I hope to make you feel it. I hope my review gets you so wet you'll need a towel.
