Valero gas station has an auto repair shop on the same lot. The name of the shop is Matilda auto repair and service . The master auto mechanic is Paul . I've been here multiple times with both my vehicles over the last six years. It's a small Shop so it's best to check with Paul first to see if he has time to repair your vehicle. The work he does is quality ,less time on repair and cost is half of what the competition charges. most auto repair shops will over charge and over book their work load. Not Matilda auto repair.

I needed a Tune-Up. I went and talked with Paul. He told me about an hour. I am from out of town. I had all the items for the Tune-up. He finished my Tune-Up. He had extra work on one of my Spark Plugs. He stayed to his price.I just had him do some major changes on a Drive-line he installed. He gave me a great price.Individuals like Paul are far and few between. Honest hard working Mechanics are rare. I can say one thing as an Autoworker as a man that has worked on vehicles his whole life. I was very lucky to meet Paul. I shall be out here working on a project. I have a few more things I want on my Toyota Tacoma I am going to schedule with Paul.Thank you, Paul

Paul the mechanic did great service. I had to get my car maintenance for a long trip out of of town. He made sure my car was in tip top condition for the long haul. The cashier is very friendly and helpful, great prices and great services. Go check them out

This review is not just for the gas station but for the mechanic, Paul, who is excellent and trustworthy. They can do tires and smog check as well. I would bring my car here for anything.
