The Domain Hotel Sunnyvale offers a blend of comfort and convenience, making it a reasonable choice for travelers. The hotel features clean and well-organized rooms, equipped with soft beds, excellent blackout curtains, and adequate bedside lighting. However, guests have noted a lack of housekeeping services, such as the failure to replace towels and toiletries during extended stays. The hotel’s Wi-Fi has been described as slow, and soundproofing is insufficient, leading to disturbances from neighboring rooms. While the lobby and location are praised for their beauty and safety, many have found the rooms to be dated, particularly the bathrooms. Guests have expressed disappointment with the complimentary breakfast, which often lacks fresh items and condiments. Additionally, there have been reports of unprofessional housekeeping practices, such as early check-out disturbances. On a positive note, the hotel has been acknowledged for its suitability for gatherings and events, with professional staff and tidy conference spaces. Its proximity to public transportation also makes it a convenient base for exploring the Bay Area. Despite some positive aspects, the overall experience has been mixed, with a need for improved service and attention to detail.
Price performance a reasonable hotel. Few notes. 1. No housekeeping unless you ask. 2. Check the soap (shampoo and body wash) when you check in as mine was empty the 2nd night and after 5PM no one to add soap.
