I have purchased three cars from Sunnyvale Ford, unaware my last maintenance expired on November 4, I brought my car in December and they wouldn't honor my last extended warranty service...although the mileage had not exceeded the 100.000 miles warranty!! I have been waiting over three hours for an oil change Something has gone very wrong with customer service. I bet if I was buying a new car they would roll out the red carpet. What's happened to this world. The service people must sadly have their hands tied, it's all profit and gain!I won't be back! Time to find a new dealership for my next purchase!!

Horrible experience, happy to take my money and even happier to leave me out to dry. An incompetent salesman did nothing for me or point me in the right direction when my brand new truck broke down with hardly 300mi on it 3 hours from the Bay Area. There was no urgency to make sure I was helped, looked after, or to ensure they would make it right. Multiple conversations with the GM provided me with little more than well articulated versions of "we can't (read as: will not) help you." All under the guise of "sticking to guide lines" and "our hands are tied with Ford."If you're a first time buyer don't make the mistake that I did by going to the Sunnyvale Ford Dealership. You are not their customer, they do not care, and you're better off getting a Toyota anyways.

I am their customer for a number of years coz I got my first car from them.I went in for a usual service yesterday. I have 6 years maintenance package which was paid for when I bought the car. I usually put the service order in, once it's done I pick up the car. During the pick up, no payment is required since the servicing is covered under maintenance package.However, this time it's been different! He doesn't mention any cost associated with it. I signed the papers as usual so technician can start working.When service is done he comes back to me with a bill of $2079.75. Felt shocking and stressed!To add to inconvenience, It is end of the day, technician already left, could not review anything with him. All the staffs and customers left or heading home. I am shocked, stranded and stuck in there with a large bill!Ironically, this is also my birthday today!

Word of caution double check the hourly labor rate before going to this stealership. Non response my truck went in August and wasn't even done until November. I had to call EACH time to check on the progress. My service adviser was worthless even though he was a nice person. They charged me a extra two hours to diagnose my problem which we already knew what was wrong. That is just wrong and obvious (extra $500) Two hours. I had a rear camera failure that was pretty obvious and common and also the gas tank "hole" broke so I could not put gas in the car. That is pretty obvious.

Overpriced and slow. $150 for oil and oil filter change of a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine. Took more than 3 hours. Made an appointment and showed up on time at 10:00am, car ready at 01:20pm.

Hello,I wanted to update my review to reflect the stellar response I received from Haris and also Simon, whom came out and corrected the issues I was concerned about. Haris took the time to thoroughly and thoughtfully explained everything to me and communicated every step of the way. Simon is awesome!! He professionally made the repairs, and made 100% sure I was content prior to leaving. He is absolutely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I am now so happy with everything!! Thank you!

Had my Bronco first full synthetic oil change service done here. Booked appointment day before and the whole service took about hour.Sunny was a great service advisor who was very professional and took care of the vehicle until the service was completed. Definitely i will be going back for the next maintenance service here.

My overall review is 4 stars, but 5 plussssss stars for the service manager Anderson K.I wont go into a lengthy review but basically there was some after issues after getting some recall work done. Not necessarily worked by him. Anderson looked out for me and advocated for me to ensure my truck came out working perfectly. If it wasnt for his care and attention, i definitely would have considered going directly to ford to complain. He is customer service at its finest.

My display, navigation, and sound system keep locking up.1) Made an appointment on Monday for a drop-off on Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM and received a confirmation email. On my way to Sunnyvale Ford Tuesday morning, I received an email canceling my appointment at 8:23 AM.2) Dropped off my truck to get the SW for the display, navigation, and sound system updated with the latest SW. The cost is $265. (Last year, I was able to do the SW download myself, but this year, the download kept crashing.) When they were finished this afternoon, I picked up my truck and before I drove off the lot, my display locked up.Ford did not fix the problem, and now I have to go back for them to fix the display lock-up issues.

Absolutely awful service. They’ve had my car for almost two months, almost no updates. I’ve been trying to get an update for two weeks and they won’t return my call afterI called twice in the same week. My service advisor was fired or quit in the first week and I still don’t know who my advisor is now. I don’t think I’ll ever get my car back. Avoid this dealership like the plague, they are awful as it gets. I couldn’t mismanage a business any worse if I intentionally tried.EDIT: It managed to actually get worse after this, however I had to take my car back recently and they were able to identify the issue same day, but it still was amazing that it took me falling through the cracks to get regular expected service.Service: Transmission
