Amazing community, everyone is rooting for each other. Coach Eddie is extremely knowledgeable in weight lifting and fixed my form in minutes. Coach Jose is an excellent boxing coach and will guide you through your first session so you aren't left out. Would recommend Smash gym to anyone.

The lessons are great (shout out to coach Jose!), but honestly the system is very problematic. I took the 6-week beginner kickboxing program and decided not to continue during the 5th week. However, I still got charged for membership fee after the end of program with the reason being "you need to have 30-day notice." That means I have to make the decision during my 2nd week (!?) And the customer service took forever to respond as well. Honestly so disappointed...

Tis "Smash"-ing indeed. I've been going to Smash since March, 2023. After going the PT route (with no success) and almost abandoning my hopes of hoopin again with pain, I got to Smash. Right from day 1, I was able to sqaut pain-free for the first time in about 6 months, thanks to Eddie. 4 months in, I'm able to play basketball again (with reduced pain and zero weakness creeping in). I'm way stronger than I've ever been, the care and expertise i need to help me move better, and, more importantly, found family. Give it a try. You won't stop trying once you start. Oh, and kick-boxing with Coach Jose? Chef's Kiss!!

I've had the privilege of working with Eddie, an outstanding gym trainer, who has not only transformed my fitness journey but has also created a strong sense of camaraderie among the gym members. From the moment I started weight training under his guidance, I knew I was in capable hands. Even though I was a beginner to weight training, I did not feel uncomfortable trying out new movements. His personalized approach, tailored workout plans, and attention to proper form have been pivotal in helping me achieve my fitness goals. Eddie possess an in-depth understanding of different techniques and is always ready to adapt routines to challenge and push me to my limits. What truly sets his approach apart, however, is his ability to foster camaraderie within the gym. The gym has created a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages members to support and uplift one another. Through team challenges, group workouts, and friendly competitions, they've turned the gym into a community where everyone feels motivated and connected. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking not only fitness progress but also a supportive and inspiring community.

There's everything to love at SMASH!Love the equipment and facilities!Adam, a strength & fitness guru, who is a fountain of knowledge always provides impeccable recommendations. His understanding of physiology, sports performance, and ability to convey it in plain understandable english is exemplary! He has helped me hit PRs in life!Jay is a tremendous BJJ instructor. His warm, perfectly paced instruction is outstanding! He is able to convey the nuanced granularity of hand placement, weight distribution, and progression to inevitable submission the SMASH way! My ground game is way better! Shazam!And I love that you can do olympic lifts! I've come so close to looking like Lü Xiaojun (but capable of lifting much less weight)! Woohoo!The vibe is fun! The water's warm! Jump right in!(That's just an expression. No pool. But there is a growing swimming pool blue mat!)Hoorah!

I came here mainly to learn how to lift. I'd always been hesitant to start on my own since I didn't want to injure myself. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Coach Eddie was so good throughout. Squats, deadlifts, bench, overhead, barbell rows - I'm confident in my techniques now. Although I left going to this gym a few months back, I carried on in my office gym and I'm pretty grateful I got a good community coach/community that made me love lifting. Newbies are usually paired up with other people. Even though I'm an introvert, I think this is good since you get to learn from each other and there's always someone watching over you. And also it helps to have an extra pair of hands to handle the weights.The lifting session with coach is not 1 on 1. It's more of a community system where he watches over everyone and is around to talk to / help out.

I have been looking for a gym that is different than your usual 24 hour fitness. I am fortunate to have stumbled across this gem of a gym. Welcome in first by probably one of the most intimidating looking guys, Coach Favian. Shortly after speaking with him and taking his classes, I found out that he was one of the most humble and down to earth people. HE WAS THE SOLE REASON I decided to sign up for smash. I always had a fear of doing any sort of kickboxing/martial arts, he really helped ease me into it. His classes are some of the best and he really pays attention to detail (fought professionally) and makes sure to correct bad habits. Every week I get better and I love kickboxing and boxing because of him. My confidence has grown so much because of him, it's rare to have a coach that's inspirational, a friend, and a teacher all in one. As for the gym itself I love how it's class oriented, so you can attend kickboxing/, muy Thai, jiu jitsu, weight training, circuit training, or all of the above!!!!!Coach Eddie is great and knowledgeable about strength/weights, and Jose has killer Muay Thai classes. You're able to also go in during open gym hours if you just want to do your own thing a couple times during the week.

Jose is the most technical kickboxing/Muay Thai coach I've ever had the pleasure to learn from in all my years of training. I frequently learn something new from him, no matter how basic the technique may appear to look, as well as more advanced topics. Fabian, is also great, and gives me a different perspective in boxing that I'm not as accustomed to, while giving me pointers and suggesting adjustments. Amazing gym.

I joined this gym during the pandemic as it was the only gym that allowed people to move equipment outside and workout. I did a 30-day month challenge to see if I could just kick start my workout to lose my quarantine weight. Here I am now, a year and half later and I couldn't have been happier. I've signed up for a lot of public gyms like 24hr, Bally's total fitness, club one and even planet fitness but this gym is special because of the community. Coach Eddie and Coach Fabian are awesome and knowledgeable. Never did I think I'd ever compete in a powerlifting competition but with Coach Eddie's help, I got gold at my first ever powerlifting meet. The people are wonderful to interact with and it's hard to see myself switching gyms.

Wanna learn how to fight like a super hero ?! Here's the place. But honestly though a lot of the things that I have seen in some of my favorite animes, or hero movies I have actually learned at smash. Which is really cool and it makes me feel like I'm genuinely learning something beneficial (as well as bad a*** i've been to Sunnyvale, San Jose, Milpitas, Mountain View and I must say that every single facility as well as all of the teachers are genuine in the experience that they wanna help you learn. And they're gonna make you get fit (if you really want it haha ) Micheal Jen has been one of the greatest jujitsu as well as Judo instructors that I've had the privilege of learning under. Favian has been amazing when it comes to understanding and communicating the business side of it all. Overall it's a cool place, positive environment and you make some really cool friends thag share your interest in marital arts!

The new staff that has come in after the pandemic initially closed the location have really turned this place around. Both the cross fit/lifting and kickboxing areas are robust. The community here is great and friends are easy to make. I am so glad they've invested in this location again.
