Had my S60 for a brake pad and rotor replacement, excellent work by Linda and Mike. They did go over in detail on what the issues were and suggested fixes. Excellent option if you want to avoid the overpriced showroom costs. I personally felt the labor charges were a bit expensive, other than that it was great experience.
Time: 1.5 days (Brake and rotor replacement + 80,000 mile service)

Linda is an expert on all things VOLVO. She explains your repairs clearly, professionally and also is extremely personable…she goes the extra mile for her customers!!! I appreciate their impeccable service and feel completely confident my car is in the best of hands!

Great group of people!! Took my 850 turbo in to diagnose a check engine code I had and they got to the bottom of the issue. Ordered the parts I need and happy to know what my root problem was. I've brought my 2012 Volvo to Scandia Auto for about 5 years now. I intend to keep my car running for a long time and with the excellent service I receive here, I will be able to do just that. The mechanic's service is always great and Linda (front desk/billing) is professional and kind! Whenever something with my car needs to be done "in the future", I am given a heads-up so I can be aware and know in advance to schedule it. I've gone to other Volvo specialists where I've had to pay double for the service and wait twice as long for my car. I'm so happy I found Scandia Auto!

I found Scandia Volvo after a disappointing misdiagnosis from our regular mechanic. I wanted Volvo specialists without having to go to the dealership, and I am very glad to have found them! They were super helpful and didn't charge me extra when the problem turned out to be more complex, and thus take more labor, than expected.

Got my S90 repaired earlier this year. The staff are super knowledgable, helpful and willing to provide different options with pros & cons explained to you. I can also tell they have a great passion for Volvo cars. I can fully trust them due to their expertise and passion.

If there's a lower rating than 1 star, I would give it to this place. I called & spoke to a woman on the phone, who admitted she's not a mechanic. I told her that my 2003 XC is showing error codes & would like to speak to a mechanic. She tells me their mechanics don't diagnose cars on a phone call & that they don't speak to customers who has questions. I didn't ask to diagnose, I want to speak to someone as to what the codes may mean. She tells me that the dashboard "don't have codes"!!! This is a rudest person I spoke to in a long time! Not very helpful at all. Maybe they don't need customers. I don't know how they last in this business. It's good i called first before deciding to take my car there. DO NOT USE unless you want to be treated crassly and abusively. Here's my response to the business owner's comments on this review: I did not ask for a diagnosis on the phone. I simply ask to speak to a mechanic who may know something about the alert on my dashboard to get an idea. I've done this in the past with other shops. Never been spoken to as rudely as the woman I spoke to at Scandia. She needs some customer service, LISTENING skills & communication training instead of you misrepresenting what happened. In fact, I called Swedish Volvo Care & got a master class in customer service from Walter! He made me aware that there's a current recall on the code I got, & sure enough his advise is informed & really helpful! Take a lesson from them! I will advise Volvo owners to go to them instead!
