Friendly staff but often runs out of Haagen das coffee ice cream. Caffeine free Coke zero is sometimes available here, but they run out quickly.

Store sign on the window and Google both say it's 24 hours but they always close down between 2am and 6am. Management is extremely rude and disrespectful and the place is surrounded by homeless crackheads outside. Also the bathrooms are disgusting. It's a disgrace that this Safeway is located in a city as good as Sunnyvale. Avoid this dump at all costs and boycott them until they close down.

Not open 24/7 but it's a lie. They haven't been open after 1 in months. Wasted my time multiple nights they won't update their signage.

This safeway has a habit of posting handwritten notes on their doors saying they are closed when the website and the official signage on the door says it is open 24/7. These notes inconsistently say when they will open, IF they say at all. It seems to be at their discretion and willy nilly if they will be open or not. Hit or miss. It has happened to me 5 times now. The last time an employee came out and told the people outside it opened at 6:30am. The previous time before that a sign said they are closed till 4am. Just this last time it just said in crudely in pen on a piece of printer paper that its closed with no indication of when it will be open. Corporate really needs to know about this.
