Michaela is an absolutely charming Case Manager. She radiates such grace with her extremely professional assessment of our elder. Thank you for coming on a weekend and enlightening our home.

Pathways has been very helpful to my father and myself. We started out with hospice and transferred to palliative care. The nurses are informed. They come to the house to do bloodwork, which is great so I don’t have to take my Dad to the lab. We have had several nurses come and they have all been wonderful and my Dad can be difficult at times because he has dementia. Thank you, Pathways for all of your help!!

My wife had terminal liver cancer. We had Pathways before for my wife because of a broken Pelvic and an ostio arthritis situation. They were excellent. On the the terminal help they had all bases covered. Excellent home nurse aid, home help with initial setup, and social worked assistance. When my wife passed at 10:45 pm, I made 1call to the answering service who had a after nurse arrive within 45 minutes to confirm and then a service to remove the remains to the mortuary. Everything was covered at a terrible emotional time...

After recovering from a tragic stillborn I was ready to start looking for a job after healing for over a year. I had a really bad interview experience with the manager Jeannine Robert and two other employees. The manager stopped the interview and told me that I wasn’t qualified for the job. I told her that the job that I applied said it required a HS diploma only. I had a two year college degree and had experience with dealing with hospice care before. She didn’t say anything and told me that the interview is done. I was really hurt and angry. After the interview I emailed the company and told them what had happened. I told them about my loss and how I was referred at Pathways from my friend’s mother that worked there. I got a call back from the HR manager to let me know that Jeannine ‘felt bad and sorry and to accept her apology.’ I told the HR manager I would have accepted her apology if she herself got on the phone and apologized to me. So I told her to tell Jeannine that I’m not going to accept it. The HR manager was so sympathetic with me I wished I remembered her name, we both actually cried on the phone. I had elderly relatives that needed care and I referred them to other facilities than here.

My family had a terrible experience with Pathways. Beware. If I could give a zero rating I would.

Avoid this agency at all costs! Zero stars! They were referred by Sutter Health for after-visit small wound care but be prepared for sub-par service from Pathways. The person they sent to change my mother's small bandage caused her a lot of distress with her heavy handed approach. On the days their employees didn't show up as scheduled, I changed my mother's bandage and she stayed calm throughout. I also did not appreciate this person offering unsolicited financial advice, snooping around our house and *taking gifts*. After the physician declared my mother healed, I ended any business with them--I was courteous to let the nurse know this. However, Pathways Home Health & Hospice reported me to the county on unfounded and inaccurate claims. They truly overstepped here. Shame shame shame on them! Never ever let any of Pathways' employees anywhere near or within your house. We have worked with other after-care agencies and many professionals who have come to our house and were skilled, compassionate and we knew were really on our side. My advice is do your homework before working with this agency--there are many better choices out there!

Garbage company. No one answers their phones. No call backs. Scheduling was horrible and their original intake appointment was a no show.I have made multiple attempts to pay a bill and rather than calling me back to figure out how to pay this bill they sent me to collections with no warning. Their billing department also billed me months after the services had been rendered, extremely delayed processing.

If you are reading this then it is to late and pathways knows they screwed up. They offered grieving services to me because they know they messed up. Do not trust Martha. Everyone else was mildly okay don't hire these people because they are recommended by the hospital. Make sure to speak loudly and clearly though the mask of you do.

The Pathways team has been wonderful, and we recommend them highly to anyone needing care for a loved one. The nurses, health aides, social workers and counselors helped our mom transition to a new level of needed care with grace and dignity. They were always easily accessible and responded to her every concern. We have been grateful for Pathways' professional and caring help.

I volunteer with the Order of the Eastern Star making pillows used by the hospice patients. Although not working with the patients directly I do work with hospice personnel finding them compassionate and reliable, always in a responsible manner in their response.

During COVID, one of my sister’s had a knee and then a hip replacement. Pathways Home Health services was instrumental in ensuring my home was safe and accessible for her after each of the surgeries. The PT and OT staff were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I was so happy to have help learning how to care for my sister. The staff was on-time and took great care to be safe during the pandemic.A few years back, we called on the hospice services to assist with my terminally ill sister. With the help of a compassionate and professional team, we were able to fulfill my sister’s wish and keep her at home. The nurses, social workers and volunteers provided the support needed to help us understand how to keep her safe and comfortable through the end of her life. We are eternally grateful for the guidance and support during that stressful time in our lives. The hospice experience touched me deeply. So much so, that I decided to become a Pathways volunteer. As a hospice volunteer I provide respite for the family care givers and companionship for those in need. I am also a part of the Vigil Team, a group of volunteers that take turns sitting with a patient when death is eminent. We sit with the interest that no one should be alone during the end of life if they do not wish to be. I have a therapy dog, who upon request, will join me on a visit and provide snuggles and unconditional love.Pathways Home Health Care and Hospice is a wonderful organization. I highly recommend Pathways as a service and a place to be in service.
