I've been a MetroPCS customer for about like 10 years, and I never suffered from these types of issues.
Besides... the family plan was great, and the network functions better than before.
I'm pretty sure people are just negative, or they had such bad luck since they were first-timers, and you know, don't just expect too much or believe that easily at the start.
But when I brought my phone to activate it, it wasn't a good idea. Just don't make the same mistake as I did it, buy it from your carrier, and the strategy is to add a new line so you don't pay for full price. ?

I became a customer here one month ago and was informed that my monthly payment would be $50 a month. However I just received my first bill and was informed by the company my monthly payment is going to be $75/month in perpetuity. Deeply unacceptable.

I would like to say that I'm very surprised this place is still in business. I was calling around 2 weeks ago looking for a iPhone for my son. I went home around 7:45pm and I looked online and saw Metro PCS was close to my home. I called the 2 numbers that's listed online guess what both numbers did not work. I had to leave my home again to see if they had iPhones. I drove to this establishment and asked a female employee if they had any iPhone available. Guess what they had nothing and I mean nothing. How is this possible ?. At this point I'm irritated and frustrated. I told the employee that I called several times and the numbers online did not work. I asked them why. She said because they refuse to pay their phone bill. This is unbelievable you're a phone company for crying out loud. I didn't have to waste my gas and time if they had a working number. I needed a question answered and I had to go to the store to get the answer instead of them answering my question over the phone. Metro get a working number for crying out loud. Unprofessional employee's that need to have better customer service training instead of sitting on their behinds on their phones. The manager needs to be present at all times and train their employees. Never go here worst store ever.

I came to change my SIM card from my first phone to my second phone. Both phones are unlocked. They told me 20 dollars. This is horror, not service. and they didn't explain why I had to pay for everything that was mine. But I can’t change it myself, they blocked this opportunity for me.

I had a similar experience as another customer and was charged 80 just to do one thing. I needed help with something and the guy that works the evening shift was very rude to me. He said I can do it myself and save money but because I'm disabled, I needed help. Don't go here in the evenings. He needs to be fired from this job for poor customer service.

Visited this location on the 20th and got a horrible experience right off the bat. I didn't stay longer than 2 minutes. The one worker was sitting in his chair, didn't even get up when I enter. Didn't notice him at first and when I did, I had to approach him to which he finally greeted me. Lazy right off the bat. And then I asked for help to cancel a number because my phone was unable to turn on and call, to which he said they can't do in-store.... Which is a complete lie because I've done it in store on different occasions before. He was seriously lazy. He said I need to call myself. I told him my phone is unable to make calls so I can't do it and he said I don't know what to tell you..... Yea I hope this man gets fired. This is highly unacceptable. So negligent
