Convenient access and free parking but does get crowded at times, well stocked grocery store, with options for warm snacks

Great place for Indian geoceries, including fresh idli and dosa bater, tamrind chutney, and namkeens in addition to the usual items. Can also get some traditional Indian utensils, and blenders/grinders.Place is right next to Madras Cafe and is a convenient place to shop while waiting for your turn at the Cafe or after it.

Excellent selection of Indian groceries. Lots of paneer to choose from and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I also picked up some naans and found a great 12 pack!

Always stop here after eating at Madras Cafe. The fruit and veg selection is pretty good, cheap, and fresh quality

We have been going to this shop on and off for a decade or so. We noticed it is getting worse for some reason recently. 2 stars is mainly for the unhelpful staff, particularly the checkout clerk they have.1. I asked her for the price of an ice cream as I had picked it up from a place where the label said, right below, $11.99 and she said $21 something. I asked her whether she was sure as the label was different and she started getting really irritated and impatient. Talk about being polite and professional.2. At checkout time, I told her they may want to fix the label and she said (to the effect), we have the right label and it is your fault and in any case she is not the one tasked with labelling. Talk about being responsible. (It seems mislabeling is a common issue looking at the comments and no one cares)3. When we were in the queue, she suddenly left to service others behind us, as they had only a few items which in itself is fine, but she didn't even have the basic courtesy of telling us before servicing people behind us while we were left to fend for ourselves. I almost thought of leaving the cart and getting out. Of course, it didn't help that we had to bag half our groceries as she acted as if she was doing me a favor by taking my few hundred dollars. So we are giving this shop a timeout of 6 months just because of this rude, unprofessional and irresponsible clerk. Now I also know the reason why the crowd is thin recently.

Fungus found in frozen food. I bought a spicy potato filled flatbread only yesterday night. I kept it refrigerated. But once I opened packet today morning , noticed fungus. Store is not careful and observant.

Review on the Deli - Nothing is priced or labeled. It is like a guessing game if you are not native. They still have good Samosa. However, The purchasing experience is not very pleasant. There is not a smile behind the counter.Review on the groceries - There is a very good selection of UK chocolates and essential food supplies you need. I love the fact they have madras dosa batter.

The vegetables and fruits are really fresh and good. They offer good discounts on weekends. Really best place to buy.One disadvantage is that we can get only bigger sizes and larger quantities of many products. Smaller sizes are not available. Also the utensils are costlier than other places and they are not returnable.Otherwise it’s the best place to get Indian groceries and snacks.

Feels like you visiting a store in India. All grocery and general items available. After reaching US, if someone is missing India come to this store and will be a treat for you. They have a Chaat Corner and also a Madras Cafe which serves South Indian food especially dosas and uttapams. Must visit for all your grocery needs.

Small but very well-stocked and well-located Indian grocery store, particularly any south Indian groceries. They have good options for healthy, organic and rare foods, such as millets, palm sugars, sweets and savories from The Grand Sweets in Chennai.

Be careful. They do fraud at many occasions. In last 8 years periodically on and off i have experienced cheating.Yesterday I bought 4 mangoes. Because of experience I wanted to try first before buying the whole box around $45.they didn’t tell about the return policy.I cut two mangoes and both were too sour to eat and had black molds.I came to return two of them, first they said manager is not here and then they said manager will not come, come back tomorrow.I left the mangoes which they will resale it without refunding and money for the mangoes. I paid $23.96 for 4 mangoes.
