I love this place. They carry a good mix of new releases and older titles. I can spend an hour just browsing the fiction. Very welcoming staff, and they let you bring back some books for credit toward new purchases. This may be my favorite business in the area.

One day, I just wanted to buy some wrapping paper, and while looking up nearby bookstores, I stumbled upon this one: "Leigh’s Favorite Books." It was a beautiful surprise.As I walked into the store, I was amazed—it felt like stepping into a book lover’s Instagram haven. Every book on the shelves was so beautiful, some adorable, and others had titles that just made you want to pick them up and browse through. The thoughtful arrangement and decor of the store were palpable.There were also many cleverly designed gifts, stationery items, various cards, pencil cases, and meditation books, all laid out for leisurely browsing. Stepping into this shop seemed to stop time, bringing a sense of peace and calm to my heart.The shop was small, but I was delighted to have explored every corner, leaving with a sense of spiritual fulfillment. I, who seldom read books in their original language, ended up buying four or five books, including the classic "Pride and Prejudice." The ambiance of the store subtly transformed me...At the checkout, there was a seemingly earnest young man with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. My initial purpose was to buy wrapping paper, so I asked if they sold any. He mentioned they only provided wrapping services but not the paper for sale. After I told him I wanted to wrap a gift for a friend, he kindly cut a piece of wrapping paper to size for me, so I ended up buying books and also got the wrapping paper I needed.Oh, and the books purchased in the store can be sold back once you're done with them.Such a wonderful shop, if you have the chance, don't hesitate to visit!

Store hung up the phone twice -- first time the front desk didn't say anything before hanging up, second time I was asked to hold but the call immediately ended. It doesn't seem that they are helpful or friendly towards customers.

Our go-to bookshop in Sunnyvale! They have a good collection and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about books. I love their trade-in program.

++++ SELECTION ++++ Great selection of books with nice recommendations. A lot of classics along with lots of new books, they are good at curating books here Sells lots of art pieces and small trinkets and gifts. Small venue. ++++ SERVICE ++++ Daniel was helpful. He helped me when I asked him questions regarding book and if they have a list of recommendations. THEY BUY USED BOOKS! Bring your giant bag of used books here and they will go through it and pick out the ones they can purchase. Then they will give you a giftcard! Awesome! ++++ OVERALL ++++ SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS! Amazing book selection, buys and resells books, a great neighborhood establishment!

Leigh's does a great job of curating the books it sells and highlighting great new books. I purchased a book I'd never heard of today, and I'm already 1/4 of the way through it! I love that they have a trade-in program if I return the book in very good condition in four months. Leigh's also has a great selection of greeting cards, stationery and gifts. I purchased a few perfect cards for people, and can't wait to use the stationery I bought. I plan to visit again soon!

I've enjoyed this bookstore on and off for the past few years but have become a more frequent visitor of late! My kids really enjoyed visiting the bookshop when they were younger and exploring the kids section. Love that there is a very large selection next door and that I can call in if there's a book I want that may not be in stock. Customer service is always spot on and this is truly a gem of a place!

This place is the gem of downtown sunnyvale. They have a great selection of books and household items (oven mitts, etc.) with really helpful reviews on the shelves from the employees to help with decision making. The main cashier who works there is also very friendly. Plus the value can be pretty good as well since for many of their books they either do a sale, or a special where if you read it and return it within a couple months you get 50% of your money back. 5/5 definitely check this place out.
